Alexa Negron Luciano and the Legend of Salomé & Aruaca

Alexa Negron Luciano and the Legend of Salomé & Aruaca

On February 27th, 2020, Bad Bunny got on stage on the Tonight show and performed while wearing a skirt, a white shirt and a salmon colored Jacket. The shirt read "Mataron a Alexa no un hombre con falda". They murdered Alexa, not a man in a skirt. For many, that was the first time we learned her name. Alexa Negron Luciano. She was a trans woman, murdered in Puerto Rico and her case remains unsolved.

In today's episode, Cristina tells MJ about Alexa Negron Luciano and MJ shares the legend of Salome and Aracua, from Puerto Rico. This episode contains talk of murder, child sexual abuse and transphobia, listen with care or skip the true crime portion and listen to MJ's part of the episode at minute 32:08
