The Legend of La Siguanaba can be heard in El Salvador, Guatemala and other parts of Central America. She was once a beautiful woman but was cursed to become the horrifying horse-faced woman, made to roam the country side, luring men to their deaths for eternity.

On today's episode, Cristina and MJ are joined by Ruthie, who has family members who encountered La Siguanaba in Guatemala, as well as a Llorona sighting in Arizona and a haunted Forever 21 story.

00:00:00.320 --> 00:00:08.560
Hi everyone. This is Christina and
this is m J. And this is

2
00:00:08.599 --> 00:00:13.039
another episode of a Spooky Tells,
the podcast for all Things as Spooky,

3
00:00:13.199 --> 00:00:17.559
and today we have a lovely guest
with us. I'm so excited to talk

4
00:00:17.559 --> 00:00:19.960
with her. I found her on
TikTok. But do you want to say

5
00:00:20.000 --> 00:00:23.559
hi to everyone? Tell us a
little bit about yourself. Hi, guys,

6
00:00:23.679 --> 00:00:29.519
my name is Ruth Castile. I
enjoy paranormal and horror anything, and

7
00:00:29.719 --> 00:00:32.439
I'm so excited to be here.
Yeah. I think I was scrolling and

8
00:00:32.560 --> 00:00:35.280
I'm trying to remember the first TikTok
that I found of yours. I think

9
00:00:35.320 --> 00:00:40.799
it was you're like talking about how
your dad sa. Yeah. Yes,

10
00:00:41.000 --> 00:00:45.359
I'm so excited for everyone to listen
because we that was like our episode one,

11
00:00:45.679 --> 00:00:49.079
right m J. Yes, yes, that was the first episode we

12
00:00:49.119 --> 00:00:52.719
did. Yeah, and when we
were doing it, we could not find

13
00:00:52.799 --> 00:00:57.799
any actual encounters with Lasianava. Like
when I asked my dad about it,

14
00:00:58.079 --> 00:01:02.119
he was like, oh, yeah, but only the like, only the

15
00:01:02.200 --> 00:01:06.239
people in the rural areas see her
because he never like heard, he heard,

16
00:01:06.239 --> 00:01:08.280
he knew of her, but he's
never seen her. He's from So

17
00:01:08.400 --> 00:01:14.079
Yeah, very excited and that's true, right, that's what. Yeah,

18
00:01:14.120 --> 00:01:18.560
I was like, my dad is
very proud. He's always saying he's from

19
00:01:18.560 --> 00:01:22.280
my example. Yeah, I love
it, love it. Yeah, my

20
00:01:22.359 --> 00:01:26.079
dad is a he's from the city, so from Okay. But before we

21
00:01:26.120 --> 00:01:32.959
get into your stories, we do
have a listeners story and if anyone wants

22
00:01:32.959 --> 00:01:36.519
to send in their stories, you
can email at spookytails at gmail dot com.

23
00:01:36.640 --> 00:01:38.480
You can submit it on Discord.
We have a channel that just says

24
00:01:38.519 --> 00:01:42.319
submit your scary story. You can
also send it via DM. Any of

25
00:01:42.359 --> 00:01:48.319
those are fine. So here we
go. Hello once again. This occurrence

26
00:01:48.359 --> 00:01:53.799
happened in my mom's hometown, Siguas. Again, take this with a grain

27
00:01:53.840 --> 00:01:57.680
of salt. I don't know how
true this is. So there's a river

28
00:01:57.840 --> 00:02:00.439
and for the longest time people have
said not to be out late at night

29
00:02:00.799 --> 00:02:06.200
because there were witches that turned into
floating balls of fire that followed the river.

30
00:02:06.920 --> 00:02:09.960
People would always disappear or have bad
luck if they saw the fireballs.

31
00:02:10.680 --> 00:02:15.719
So one day my mom's cousin.
Three of them were out drinking and got

32
00:02:15.800 --> 00:02:19.680
really late and they started walking home. Two of the men lived close to

33
00:02:19.680 --> 00:02:22.680
each other, so they went on
their way. Now the last man was

34
00:02:22.680 --> 00:02:25.840
walking along the river trying to get
home. He said he saw three floating

35
00:02:25.879 --> 00:02:30.280
balls of fire in the distance.
He decided it was a good idea to

36
00:02:30.400 --> 00:02:36.400
run after them and throw rocks at
them. What wow, that sounds like

37
00:02:36.400 --> 00:02:42.080
a terrible That sounds like the opposite. So that's what he did. He

38
00:02:42.120 --> 00:02:45.879
said he managed to hit one of
the balls and it fell. He was

39
00:02:45.960 --> 00:02:50.400
yelling out of excitement, and since
he didn't see the fire the ball of

40
00:02:50.439 --> 00:02:53.479
fire light backup, he decided to
head home. Once he got home,

41
00:02:53.479 --> 00:02:58.759
he told this story, and nobody
believed him because he was drunk. The

42
00:02:58.840 --> 00:03:01.120
next day, all the women and
went to the river to wash their clothes,

43
00:03:01.159 --> 00:03:05.919
and to their surprise, there was
one woman from town that did not

44
00:03:06.000 --> 00:03:08.360
show up. A couple of them
went to check on her to make sure

45
00:03:08.360 --> 00:03:13.039
she was okay. They found the
women in her home full of bruises.

46
00:03:13.520 --> 00:03:16.319
They asked her what happened, and
she says, she fell going to the

47
00:03:16.360 --> 00:03:20.759
owl house. Well, as you
might guess, the whole town now knew

48
00:03:20.919 --> 00:03:23.639
who one of the witches was.
That's as far as the story goes.

49
00:03:23.680 --> 00:03:29.159
I don't think they did anything to
her other than keep their distance. Oh

50
00:03:29.719 --> 00:03:32.840
this reminds me of a Letusa's story
that I heard like a long time ago.

51
00:03:32.879 --> 00:03:38.360
Actually we manag shared it MJ.
But it was like there was Lisa

52
00:03:38.479 --> 00:03:40.840
that was taking kids or something,
and they suspected that it was this one

53
00:03:40.919 --> 00:03:45.280
woman and they went to her house
and like I mean, just like they

54
00:03:45.280 --> 00:03:49.639
did in these like old stories.
They I think they beat her, but

55
00:03:49.680 --> 00:03:52.960
then when she was an owl or
they shot at the owl. And then

56
00:03:53.000 --> 00:03:55.360
the next day they went to this
lady's house and she was like missing a

57
00:03:55.439 --> 00:04:00.280
leg or something. Yeah, like
she was like injured. Yeah, yeah,

58
00:04:00.400 --> 00:04:02.479
that reminds me. That's sort of
memory of that, because yeah,

59
00:04:02.520 --> 00:04:05.719
they found her all bruised up,
but I'm glad they didn't do anything to

60
00:04:05.759 --> 00:04:09.879
her, and they just like let
her live. In my dad's town.

61
00:04:10.280 --> 00:04:15.960
The witches would turn into pigs.
What I have not heard that I've I've

62
00:04:15.960 --> 00:04:19.680
heard that. I've heard that they
turned into pigs. Yeah, where have

63
00:04:19.759 --> 00:04:26.079
I been. I've only heard of
them turning into like some sort of flying

64
00:04:26.199 --> 00:04:30.120
like litusas or I think I've even
seen cats, but no, I've never

65
00:04:30.120 --> 00:04:35.600
had snakes snakes, but I've never
heard of pigs. Yeah, and they

66
00:04:35.639 --> 00:04:42.720
were destroying crops and yeah, they
do that to torture, like they were

67
00:04:42.759 --> 00:04:46.279
just they were bad. Yeah,
I've I've heard that because my mom told

68
00:04:46.279 --> 00:04:49.199
me a story about this one guy
who fell in love with the He was

69
00:04:49.279 --> 00:04:54.839
married, but he fell in love
with with the lady who was thought to

70
00:04:54.879 --> 00:04:58.199
be a bruha. And he would
tell stories how at night when he would

71
00:04:58.199 --> 00:05:00.720
go to sleep, that these pigs
would come and get him, and it

72
00:05:00.879 --> 00:05:04.000
was it was the lady who was
in love with him, and then and

73
00:05:04.120 --> 00:05:09.519
her little covein Wow, and they
would go like and chase him, like

74
00:05:09.680 --> 00:05:13.360
chase him and like they're the pigs
and they're chasing him around at it and

75
00:05:13.399 --> 00:05:15.720
he's like, these are the dreams
I had. And then he would like

76
00:05:15.759 --> 00:05:19.480
wake up every day with like dirt
and exhausted and all crazy stuff. Oh

77
00:05:19.480 --> 00:05:24.120
well, oh my god, I
have to I had to get the story.

78
00:05:24.160 --> 00:05:27.680
But yeah, they would turn into
pigs. What happened to my uncle

79
00:05:27.800 --> 00:05:30.920
was then one of the pigs kept
on bugging him and he went out in

80
00:05:30.959 --> 00:05:35.680
the night with and he was like, I'm gonna get her, and the

81
00:05:35.839 --> 00:05:41.199
pig came running behind him. My
uncle cut her, well, cut her

82
00:05:41.279 --> 00:05:44.600
up, and the next day there
was a huge thing in the village.

83
00:05:44.680 --> 00:05:47.879
There was a woman there was really
badly hurt, and of course again they

84
00:05:47.959 --> 00:05:56.000
knew now that she was the witch. Oh my god. Wow, I

85
00:05:56.040 --> 00:06:00.160
wonder what would happen if, like, because I mean obviously people eat you

86
00:06:00.160 --> 00:06:03.120
know, if you like accidentally yeah, cooked one of them, like oh

87
00:06:03.160 --> 00:06:08.800
barbecue time, like what they turned
into a person? Wait, isn't that

88
00:06:09.160 --> 00:06:13.120
isn't that's the reason that I'm sorry, I'm not very sure about this,

89
00:06:13.199 --> 00:06:18.839
but Muslims don't need pigs because somewhere
in scripture it talks about humans turning into

90
00:06:19.199 --> 00:06:25.240
into pigs. Oh is that the
reason? I've never heard that. Yeah,

91
00:06:25.319 --> 00:06:29.439
I'm not sure about that. But
it isn't like human human meat similar

92
00:06:29.519 --> 00:06:32.879
to pig meat something like that.
People who've who've tried human meat say it's

93
00:06:32.920 --> 00:06:36.199
like similar. I don't know.
I don't know. Yeah, I wonder,

94
00:06:36.480 --> 00:06:44.279
not not that I would try it, but yeah. Interesting. Okay,

95
00:06:44.279 --> 00:06:48.240
Well, before you tell us about
Lasianava encounter, I do quickly just

96
00:06:48.240 --> 00:06:53.319
want to remind everyone of the legend, just because it was forever ago.

97
00:06:53.439 --> 00:06:57.279
I mean, this is what episode
one hundred twenty something and episode one is

98
00:06:57.279 --> 00:07:00.480
where we talked about the actual legend. So most of the variations of the

99
00:07:00.560 --> 00:07:06.279
legend are very similar. Is mostly
a Central American legend. I honestly have

100
00:07:06.360 --> 00:07:10.480
not heard of it in Mexico,
but when I talked about I talked about

101
00:07:10.480 --> 00:07:15.560
it on TikTok. And there is
a horse lady in like the Wahaka area

102
00:07:15.680 --> 00:07:17.680
I've heard, but she has a
different name. It's not Laua. It

103
00:07:17.720 --> 00:07:21.199
doesn't have the same backstory. So
there is a horse faced lady there,

104
00:07:21.240 --> 00:07:29.199
but again it's not La So I'm
pretty sure this is only like Gates.

105
00:07:29.199 --> 00:07:33.920
I think it's like more known as
La Segua, but I think most of

106
00:07:34.040 --> 00:07:38.319
the like, most of it is
the same. So according to a legend,

107
00:07:38.360 --> 00:07:42.120
there was a woman. Her name
was Steva Wet, which means beautiful

108
00:07:42.160 --> 00:07:47.160
woman. She used her charms and
with the help of a bruka, she

109
00:07:47.480 --> 00:07:53.879
had the prince Yay soon marry her. And then she was like, I

110
00:07:53.920 --> 00:07:56.079
don't know, I don't know if
it was like a princess or because he

111
00:07:56.160 --> 00:07:59.319
was I think he was like a
prince or something. Anyway, he soon

112
00:07:59.399 --> 00:08:03.800
went to war and then see what
wedd was like a bad wife and during

113
00:08:03.839 --> 00:08:09.160
this time she had affairs. At
one point she had her son, Elcipitio,

114
00:08:09.720 --> 00:08:11.199
and she was not a good mom. She did not take care of

115
00:08:11.360 --> 00:08:16.920
Cio. She was busy being with
all these other men, apparently in according

116
00:08:16.959 --> 00:08:24.120
to legend, and then jay Soon
returns. When jay Soon returns, she

117
00:08:24.199 --> 00:08:28.480
has like some plan where she's gonna
like kill Jayson or have him killed and

118
00:08:28.519 --> 00:08:33.240
then she's going to be like queen
or something. This doesn't go well,

119
00:08:33.519 --> 00:08:37.200
so she she has this poison.
There's like some festival thing, and jay

120
00:08:37.200 --> 00:08:41.159
Soon drinks this poison during this festival
and then he turns into like this giant

121
00:08:41.200 --> 00:08:46.519
two headed monster kills a lot of
people at this like party or festival,

122
00:08:46.120 --> 00:08:52.759
and to punish her lack curses her
for for everything she just did, like

123
00:08:52.960 --> 00:08:58.879
cursing Jayson, being a terrible mom. He curses her to become Lassie when

124
00:09:00.159 --> 00:09:03.440
us. So now she's this hideous
woman who's going to roam the countryside.

125
00:09:03.120 --> 00:09:09.360
And lcpt or her son was cursed
at the same time, and so he

126
00:09:09.440 --> 00:09:13.519
used cursed to be like this little
boy forever his feet were turned backwards,

127
00:09:13.720 --> 00:09:16.840
his stomach was like distended, you
know when they get a big belly.

128
00:09:16.879 --> 00:09:24.080
Because yes, okay, she yeah, she roams the countryside, usually found

129
00:09:24.159 --> 00:09:28.440
by like a body of water,
and when men look at her. They're

130
00:09:28.480 --> 00:09:33.320
supposed to die. If they live, they're gonna go insane. She like

131
00:09:33.399 --> 00:09:37.639
lures people away. And then there's
like another version where I don't think they

132
00:09:37.679 --> 00:09:43.919
really talk about her trying to kill
jay Soon. She's this beautiful woman and

133
00:09:43.960 --> 00:09:48.399
then she's like a terrible mom and
she cheats on jay Soon when he's gone,

134
00:09:48.559 --> 00:09:54.399
and then that's why she's cursed by
God to become la curse at the

135
00:09:54.440 --> 00:09:58.679
same time. So that's how I
heard it. Did you know a different

136
00:09:58.759 --> 00:10:05.159
version? No, I had her
something to the first one, but I

137
00:10:05.200 --> 00:10:09.840
didn't know the extent of the story. Yeah, yeah, it's that's very

138
00:10:09.840 --> 00:10:13.080
interesting and it makes a lot of
sense because my dad said that she only

139
00:10:13.080 --> 00:10:18.679
appears to men that are Mukie viegos, and I was like, oh,

140
00:10:18.720 --> 00:10:24.519
that makes so much sense. Oh
and then hold on, there was like

141
00:10:24.600 --> 00:10:28.159
one more thing about the legend.
Yes, she's so she's cursed to wander

142
00:10:28.200 --> 00:10:35.759
the countryside praying on or you know
what's a good I wrote man horror.

143
00:10:35.759 --> 00:10:39.399
When I first wrote this, I'm
like trying to think a way to put

144
00:10:39.399 --> 00:10:46.080
it, but I can't. So, yeah, she prays on on unslus

145
00:10:46.120 --> 00:10:52.320
man. Yeah, yeah, and
she often appears beautiful when men see her,

146
00:10:52.600 --> 00:10:56.279
and like she has like a gown, she's brushing her hair, and

147
00:10:56.320 --> 00:11:01.399
she lures them to follow her.
There's I think in the version in oh

148
00:11:01.440 --> 00:11:05.399
Okay, I guess before you get
into your the actual encounter. The Guatemalan

149
00:11:05.559 --> 00:11:09.440
version of the legend is a little
different. She's forced to marry a man

150
00:11:09.519 --> 00:11:13.600
that's forty years older than her and
then she's like not good to him or

151
00:11:13.600 --> 00:11:18.799
something, and that man curses her
into becoming Las Guava. That's one version

152
00:11:18.840 --> 00:11:24.879
in Guatemala. And then in order
to save yourself from Las Guanaba, men

153
00:11:24.000 --> 00:11:28.519
have to bite their cross or like
a medaya with like a little cross,

154
00:11:28.440 --> 00:11:37.799
or or pull her hair and say
three times, what is that you're now

155
00:11:37.879 --> 00:11:46.279
leaving crab grass Maria three times?
Or bite their yes is another one that

156
00:11:46.360 --> 00:11:50.679
I've that I found And then this
was like super funny to me, and

157
00:11:50.759 --> 00:11:54.279
I think we like laugh so much
when we first heard this, MJ.

158
00:11:54.480 --> 00:11:58.279
But if you're like running from her
and she's running after you, you can

159
00:11:58.360 --> 00:12:05.559
hear her because her boobs are happing
together you're running, and I mean,

160
00:12:05.600 --> 00:12:09.679
she's she's a mom and I guess
she just has, you know, get

161
00:12:09.679 --> 00:12:18.240
affected by gravity. Yeah, changed
after you know, becoming a mom.

162
00:12:18.399 --> 00:12:24.679
So that's and and when you find
drawings of Leslie, her boobs are are

163
00:12:24.759 --> 00:12:31.039
dragging, like oh wow. That's
a pretty consistent thing about Leslie Guava is

164
00:12:31.080 --> 00:12:41.480
that she has these huge, dragging
boobs and very similar to other stories of

165
00:12:41.720 --> 00:12:46.200
you know, women luring men.
Women are to be feared, they're vengeful.

166
00:12:46.879 --> 00:12:56.879
It's like Laurona from on Buddhas.
There's so many of these different lady

167
00:12:56.919 --> 00:13:03.120
in white versions across the world.
This is universal that there's like this woman

168
00:13:03.279 --> 00:13:09.440
entity after luring men to their deaths. Yeah wow. And so yeah,

169
00:13:09.480 --> 00:13:13.720
I guess that was like a very
brief, brief version of the legend.

170
00:13:15.639 --> 00:13:20.759
But yeah, tell us tell us
about your your dad. So that was

171
00:13:20.840 --> 00:13:26.240
very interesting because that's a huge thing
of in Guatemala, like if you come

172
00:13:26.320 --> 00:13:31.639
across the paranormare thing or happening,
you bite your machete. That's something my

173
00:13:31.759 --> 00:13:35.440
dad told me since I was a
kid, and I've always been fascinated and

174
00:13:35.480 --> 00:13:39.360
with the story that I'm a share
right now, it's never changed. I've

175
00:13:39.360 --> 00:13:43.360
heard the story of my whole life. I'm about two thirty nine and I

176
00:13:43.399 --> 00:13:48.120
swear this story. It's the same. It's never changed word by word.

177
00:13:48.799 --> 00:13:52.360
So this happened like what my dad
was born in the sixties, so he

178
00:13:52.440 --> 00:13:58.600
said he was little, So this
happened in the mid sixties in Guatemala.

179
00:13:58.679 --> 00:14:01.919
There was still not a latta like
running water, I think, no electricity,

180
00:14:03.240 --> 00:14:09.120
very campful like fields and farming and
forests and woods, very almost virgin,

181
00:14:09.399 --> 00:14:15.080
and I think that attracts a lot
of this activity right well, from

182
00:14:15.080 --> 00:14:20.399
what I believe. And my dad
said that him and his little brother there

183
00:14:20.519 --> 00:14:24.080
wasn't There was no money, but
there was food. The forest. The

184
00:14:24.159 --> 00:14:31.159
woods would provide wild vegetables and food, and the chickens would lay eggs,

185
00:14:31.200 --> 00:14:35.639
so there was something always to eat. And they were hungry, and they

186
00:14:35.679 --> 00:14:41.120
went to the back of their house, which was the forest, and they

187
00:14:41.200 --> 00:14:46.000
saw their mom and my grandma,
and they saw her. They're like,

188
00:14:46.039 --> 00:14:48.840
oh, she's They got so excited. They were like, she's cutting which

189
00:14:48.919 --> 00:14:56.960
is I muna say the longer story. She was cutting flastimo lastismoo. I

190
00:14:58.039 --> 00:15:03.399
might be saying that wrong, banana
bananas. And they were excited. They

191
00:15:03.399 --> 00:15:07.159
were like, oh, my god, we're so hungry. She's cutting this

192
00:15:07.279 --> 00:15:11.480
for us. And they started running
towards her. Because she did lure them.

193
00:15:11.600 --> 00:15:16.120
She was like, she turned and
she told them come here, bang

194
00:15:16.320 --> 00:15:20.440
bang, like come here, and
they were like, yeah, that's mom,

195
00:15:20.519 --> 00:15:24.000
so let's go. I don't know
how, but this always happened where

196
00:15:24.039 --> 00:15:28.159
like one of his older brothers caught
them mid air and they were like what

197
00:15:28.720 --> 00:15:35.440
and they're like, that's not mom. And I always wonder how my uncle's

198
00:15:35.519 --> 00:15:39.759
the oldest ones. There is something
they told me that there were some kind

199
00:15:39.799 --> 00:15:43.399
of protections on things that were passed
on to the oldest but not the youngest.

200
00:15:43.759 --> 00:15:46.080
So I think that's what he knew. And my uncle and my dad

201
00:15:46.120 --> 00:15:50.720
were like, whoa, who is
that then? And my uncle was like,

202
00:15:50.799 --> 00:15:52.879
that's not see one other. And
as soon as dad was said,

203
00:15:54.679 --> 00:16:00.679
they turned around and the woman that
looked like their mom turns horse face,

204
00:16:00.919 --> 00:16:07.200
Oh my god, black hair,
long black hair, and was like laughing.

205
00:16:07.320 --> 00:16:08.360
I don't know if you ever heard
of this, but she laughed really

206
00:16:08.440 --> 00:16:15.559
nasty, and they were like,
oh, hell no, they damned back

207
00:16:15.600 --> 00:16:18.799
home. And when they went inside
the house, they were like, my

208
00:16:18.879 --> 00:16:22.519
grandma. Actually, there's a huge
part of the story. She didn't go

209
00:16:22.559 --> 00:16:26.919
out at all that day because she
had a bad toothache, so she was

210
00:16:26.000 --> 00:16:30.360
resting and they asked her, were
you outside and she was like, how

211
00:16:30.399 --> 00:16:33.759
can I be outside? I have
a really bad toothache and I don't feel

212
00:16:33.799 --> 00:16:37.759
well. And they were like okay, and they didn't talk about it until

213
00:16:37.840 --> 00:16:41.519
later. Of course, kids being
curious, they went the next day.

214
00:16:41.600 --> 00:16:45.320
They spill see where this happened,
and they went out, and when they

215
00:16:45.360 --> 00:16:51.000
went out, they went accepted to
the spot where it happened. And what

216
00:16:51.159 --> 00:16:53.039
they saw, you know, how
she saw that they saw a woman cutting

217
00:16:53.080 --> 00:16:57.240
the bananas. The bananas were still
up in a tree. They were never

218
00:16:57.279 --> 00:17:02.039
cut. Oh my god, it
was like in like an illusion, like

219
00:17:02.559 --> 00:17:07.799
it never happened. Wow, oh
my god, Oh my god, that's

220
00:17:07.920 --> 00:17:11.559
terrifying. That is I forgot to
mention that. But yes, they say

221
00:17:11.599 --> 00:17:15.359
that she can change to take the
appearance of someone, you know, especially

222
00:17:15.440 --> 00:17:21.920
when it's like younger like kids,
they'll it'll look like their mom or even

223
00:17:22.000 --> 00:17:26.039
I've heard stories of like her looking
like someone's wife or some like, not

224
00:17:26.200 --> 00:17:32.599
as herself until their lord away and
then she turns into the horse face horrifying

225
00:17:32.640 --> 00:17:36.960
horse. But oh my god,
that's that's wild. And I actually have

226
00:17:37.079 --> 00:17:42.160
another story with Yeah, so it
is so true that this happened. I

227
00:17:44.559 --> 00:17:47.640
guess it does happen a lot in
the example side. That makes a lot

228
00:17:47.640 --> 00:17:52.000
of sense the countryside. My uncle
is the oldest from my dad's side.

229
00:17:52.839 --> 00:17:56.519
He said he was followed by her
a lot. Again, he was a

230
00:17:56.599 --> 00:18:02.480
no he loved women, and even
he was married and had kids. You

231
00:18:02.559 --> 00:18:07.440
know, he's he said that at
one time, in the middle of the

232
00:18:07.559 --> 00:18:11.279
night, they always were told don't
go out too late, and don't stay

233
00:18:11.319 --> 00:18:15.480
out too late because she'll get you, you know, And he didn't listen

234
00:18:15.519 --> 00:18:18.160
because he was drunk. And by
the time he woke up from whatever,

235
00:18:18.279 --> 00:18:19.920
he was like, oh my god, it's super late. It's like a

236
00:18:21.000 --> 00:18:26.359
midnight. And he was riding his
horse back home when he felt like something

237
00:18:26.519 --> 00:18:32.480
climbed in the back of the horse
and he was like he turns and he

238
00:18:32.519 --> 00:18:37.160
sees the hair like flopping around.
And this time it wasn't a beautiful woman.

239
00:18:37.279 --> 00:18:41.799
It was horse based one nava.
She was like, I'm not even

240
00:18:41.839 --> 00:18:45.519
gonna show. Yeah. She goes, she goes, I got you,

241
00:18:45.319 --> 00:18:51.880
and he starts hitting him and and
he's like, he's like, she's torturing

242
00:18:51.960 --> 00:18:56.039
him. And I don't know what
happens, but he falls off the horse

243
00:18:56.799 --> 00:19:00.720
and the next day he wakes up. He's tied up to a tree,

244
00:19:00.079 --> 00:19:03.640
but like tied up with like,
oh my god, like like really well

245
00:19:03.680 --> 00:19:08.720
with not a rope but some kind
of planted is really thick. But he's

246
00:19:08.759 --> 00:19:15.200
tied up oh like like twine,
I guess, and I think, yeah,

247
00:19:15.240 --> 00:19:26.319
and it's not I hope. So
and my his wife and kids were

248
00:19:26.319 --> 00:19:29.359
looking for him, and they found
them and they were like, what happened

249
00:19:29.640 --> 00:19:33.240
and you're tied up? And he's
like, yeah, you don't want to

250
00:19:33.279 --> 00:19:37.079
know. But later on she did. She did tell them like I was

251
00:19:37.160 --> 00:19:44.359
attacked by and she tied me up
like he was tied up. Oh my

252
00:19:44.640 --> 00:19:52.119
god, that's a wild wow wow. Yeah, because my I mean,

253
00:19:52.119 --> 00:19:56.279
my family a little but they grew
up like just right outside of sand So

254
00:19:56.400 --> 00:19:59.839
my my both my dad and my
uncle are like, oh no, yeah,

255
00:20:00.000 --> 00:20:03.599
she's only like a couple. The
only one that I have heard of,

256
00:20:03.599 --> 00:20:07.279
like people encountering in the city is
probably like the I don't know if

257
00:20:07.680 --> 00:20:12.359
I'm pretty sure that's the thing,
A big black dog. Yeah, yeah,

258
00:20:14.039 --> 00:20:17.039
yeah, that's the that's the like
really the only one other than like

259
00:20:17.079 --> 00:20:19.799
other like random ghost stories or even
when this because my dad has one of

260
00:20:19.799 --> 00:20:22.599
the stories that he never like wants
to tell me. But oh yeah,

261
00:20:22.599 --> 00:20:27.880
that's yeah. Yeah, we're horrifying. Yeah but no, yeah, none

262
00:20:27.880 --> 00:20:32.559
of them have seen when our stories
and I'm like, damn, yeah,

263
00:20:32.599 --> 00:20:37.359
we because we could barely find any. Oh I think when we recorded that

264
00:20:37.400 --> 00:20:41.960
episode, we might have gotten one
or found one where someone said their dad

265
00:20:41.039 --> 00:20:45.279
was out in the in the fields
again an example, and or it might

266
00:20:45.319 --> 00:20:48.799
have been like a grandpa but he
like heard her approaching and then he like

267
00:20:48.839 --> 00:20:52.279
cussed her out. He's like,
I don't have time for this, and

268
00:20:52.319 --> 00:20:59.279
then she like just left. But
yeah, yeah, you know what,

269
00:21:00.279 --> 00:21:06.799
I'm sorry. I meant to say
something. My uncle actually was in shock

270
00:21:06.960 --> 00:21:12.519
after the encounter with He didn't speak
for like three days. Oh wow.

271
00:21:12.599 --> 00:21:18.440
Yeah, so I was like,
yeah that makes sense. They stay shock.

272
00:21:18.519 --> 00:21:22.519
Yeah yeah, and then they say, like some people never recover from

273
00:21:22.519 --> 00:21:25.759
that shock, and that's when they
say, oh, they lost their mind

274
00:21:25.920 --> 00:21:30.039
after that, and then they're like
never the same. Yeah. Wow,

275
00:21:30.559 --> 00:21:34.720
horrifying. I love that folklore because
you hear it and then you hear the

276
00:21:34.759 --> 00:21:38.119
actual stories from your like families or
friends, and you're like, oh,

277
00:21:38.279 --> 00:21:44.960
like it's true, Like yeah,
yeah, so interesting. We kept saying

278
00:21:44.960 --> 00:21:48.440
that she needs a hotline so that
we can Yeah, like what did that

279
00:21:48.519 --> 00:21:55.720
be? Awesome? Like? Hello, do you do you travel right?

280
00:21:56.079 --> 00:22:00.000
Can you come and say hi?
Oh my god. When I was little,

281
00:22:00.039 --> 00:22:04.119
I thought I heard like Aona in
the city of la Oh no,

282
00:22:04.200 --> 00:22:11.279
way, how I was little.
I think I was like seven and when

283
00:22:11.279 --> 00:22:17.119
people talk about Aarona. And then
finally I didn't hear stories about she's everywhere

284
00:22:17.359 --> 00:22:21.359
anytime, And I was like,
that's true because I was. I heard

285
00:22:21.359 --> 00:22:25.480
her and I woke up and I
was terrified. You know when you wake

286
00:22:25.559 --> 00:22:27.359
up when you're little, you're already
terrified. And I was like, what

287
00:22:27.559 --> 00:22:30.720
is daddy? And I heard her? She said she was just like,

288
00:22:30.759 --> 00:22:37.359
you know, like crying and whining
and like you hear the entity just going

289
00:22:37.440 --> 00:22:41.400
down the street. But you know
how they say you hear far away,

290
00:22:41.480 --> 00:22:45.720
she's closed. And when she's closed, she's far away. I'm going far

291
00:22:45.759 --> 00:22:49.880
away, and I knew I'm actually's
closed. She's by the window. Oh

292
00:22:51.240 --> 00:22:53.920
no, that's horrifying. Oh my
god. You know how they say it,

293
00:22:55.000 --> 00:22:59.519
don't move, don't say anything,
because she she will go on her

294
00:22:59.519 --> 00:23:03.039
way. And I'm like, I
was frosen in in my bed and I

295
00:23:03.079 --> 00:23:04.880
was like, don't not make a
move because she was no that you're here.

296
00:23:07.839 --> 00:23:11.559
Wow, that was so scary.
Oh my godh my god, that's

297
00:23:11.559 --> 00:23:15.319
horrifying. Yeah, we had she
she's I think she's been on our podcast.

298
00:23:15.559 --> 00:23:18.920
It has been twice or three times
now, but v she was just

299
00:23:18.960 --> 00:23:23.240
recently on our adendous episode and she
we had an episode on La Yorona like

300
00:23:23.400 --> 00:23:27.960
a while back too, and she
said that she would see her repeatedly in

301
00:23:29.039 --> 00:23:33.640
Arizona and like because I think her
grandparents lived by like a cemetery, and

302
00:23:33.759 --> 00:23:38.480
like once they saw her like from
Afar, like just like a woman in

303
00:23:38.519 --> 00:23:42.480
white, far away. But then
like after that time, she kept seeing

304
00:23:42.519 --> 00:23:47.519
her and like she would hear crying
and then like look in the hallway at

305
00:23:47.559 --> 00:23:52.039
school and then just see like within
the crowd of kids like La Yoona,

306
00:23:52.200 --> 00:23:55.160
just like in the middle, and
then she would disappear. And I'm like,

307
00:23:55.200 --> 00:24:00.640
that's horrifying that I wasn't. Oh
I wonder if you sensitive too,

308
00:24:02.160 --> 00:24:04.119
Yeah, yeah, yeah, oh
yeah, yeah. She was a medium

309
00:24:04.160 --> 00:24:07.079
for a long time. She's just
like I think she said she stopped doing

310
00:24:07.079 --> 00:24:10.839
it like two years ago because it
was like too much. But for a

311
00:24:10.839 --> 00:24:14.680
long time. She was like a
medium that like was helping people and things

312
00:24:14.720 --> 00:24:18.000
like that. But yeah, she's
very sensitive to all that. That's funny

313
00:24:18.039 --> 00:24:22.880
because I used to read hands and
help people and I stopped because people don't

314
00:24:22.880 --> 00:24:30.640
listen. People don't listen. I
could see that. Yeah. I was

315
00:24:30.680 --> 00:24:33.000
like, no, I can't do
this no more. It takes so much

316
00:24:33.319 --> 00:24:36.960
spiritually, it takes it drains you
because you're using that gift. That's what

317
00:24:37.079 --> 00:24:41.279
you know. Said yeah, yeah, so it makes sense. And I

318
00:24:41.359 --> 00:24:45.519
had certain people they will always come
from me to me and they just didn't

319
00:24:45.559 --> 00:24:49.079
listen. They were like and I
was like, I can't do this no

320
00:24:49.119 --> 00:24:55.119
more. I'm like I can't.
I need a break. Yeah yeah,

321
00:24:55.319 --> 00:24:59.319
I saw this before on our episodes. But my great grandma would go to

322
00:24:59.400 --> 00:25:03.640
brucast like curse have them curs people
that she hated. She had like a

323
00:25:03.720 --> 00:25:08.119
list like like a black oh my
god people. But she would take my

324
00:25:08.160 --> 00:25:14.640
mom with her during her trips and
these blue casts will tell my mom like,

325
00:25:14.680 --> 00:25:17.880
oh, you have the gifts,
like you can use this, and

326
00:25:18.000 --> 00:25:21.119
my mom was like no, no, But I'm pretty sure if she if

327
00:25:21.119 --> 00:25:22.799
she was like open to it,
she could do it. But like me

328
00:25:22.839 --> 00:25:26.880
and my twin. I think we're
just like closed off, like because anytime

329
00:25:26.920 --> 00:25:30.640
anyone has stories like I don't hear, I don't. It could be in

330
00:25:30.640 --> 00:25:33.599
the same room and I'm like,
that happened. I had no idea.

331
00:25:37.119 --> 00:25:40.680
Yes, yeah I have. She's
a guest on oh what do we call

332
00:25:40.720 --> 00:25:42.799
her, MJ? The unofficial official
guest co host. Yes, so when

333
00:25:42.920 --> 00:25:48.160
MJ's out usually she covers for MJ. So she's on the on some episodes.

334
00:25:48.400 --> 00:25:52.880
Because I have a twin, Oh
my god, identical. No,

335
00:25:53.000 --> 00:26:03.400
oh oh, you guys are not
real. Yeah, wow wild that's also

336
00:26:03.559 --> 00:26:08.319
o man. Yeah, but we
we've never seen anything, and even in

337
00:26:08.920 --> 00:26:12.359
Mexico, we have a thea that
like we went to her house, and

338
00:26:12.440 --> 00:26:18.559
her house supposedly things happen, Like
I think one of my cousins sees like

339
00:26:18.200 --> 00:26:22.200
this, not I don't think it's
ever been seen outside of the walls,

340
00:26:22.240 --> 00:26:26.000
but this like big black shadow,
Like they'll walk into a room and then

341
00:26:26.039 --> 00:26:32.359
like there's just like a big black
shadow that looks big and tall. I'm

342
00:26:32.400 --> 00:26:34.039
like, like, I guess maybe, like I don't think it's the hat

343
00:26:34.079 --> 00:26:38.440
Man, but just a really tall
shadow figure in the walls, Like it

344
00:26:38.440 --> 00:26:41.559
looks like it's going to grab them
and then it just disappears. And they

345
00:26:41.599 --> 00:26:45.799
said that I've never seen it because
yeah, I don't see anything. But

346
00:26:45.759 --> 00:26:52.640
where she lives, my thea would
like people ride the bus like regularly over

347
00:26:52.680 --> 00:26:55.240
there, and so she would it
was like it was like the last bus,

348
00:26:55.480 --> 00:26:57.160
but on her way, like from
the bus stops to her house.

349
00:26:59.039 --> 00:27:02.920
She said she heard like Jona and
she's like, oh no, I'm running

350
00:27:02.960 --> 00:27:06.319
it. She like just like boot
into her house. But yeah, I've

351
00:27:06.440 --> 00:27:10.599
never heard or seen, yeah anything. And I'm gonnaful because like I said

352
00:27:10.599 --> 00:27:14.200
this a bunch of times, but
I would literally die on the SPA.

353
00:27:14.359 --> 00:27:18.880
I would, like I said,
I would, I would be done in

354
00:27:18.960 --> 00:27:23.319
that yes, in that order.
Yeah, then they would just find me

355
00:27:23.400 --> 00:27:30.519
and the pile together. It'd be
bad. Oh my god. Yeah,

356
00:27:30.039 --> 00:27:34.640
being a seer or whatever. It's
not the funnest thing. No, it

357
00:27:34.680 --> 00:27:44.200
sounds terrible. Welcome to our little

guys want to hear about when I was

376
00:29:18.000 --> 00:29:23.079
a kid again, yes, So
my cousins had just arrived from Guatemala and

377
00:29:23.119 --> 00:29:26.440
it was a huge party in my
family. They were so happy because they

378
00:29:26.480 --> 00:29:30.440
were teenagers and they were going to
start on the whole new life here in

379
00:29:30.480 --> 00:29:36.759
the USA. So it was a
happy occasion. So that night I was

380
00:29:36.839 --> 00:29:41.640
asleep and I was awoken because my
room got cold, and I was like,

381
00:29:42.359 --> 00:29:48.960
and then I started hearing somebody praying, but I wasn't praying. It

382
00:29:48.079 --> 00:29:53.559
was Sama prestando because I could hear
the Virgin Mary being mentioned and all this

383
00:29:53.640 --> 00:29:56.599
stuff. And I was like,
oh, so that's like, I'm like,

384
00:29:56.880 --> 00:30:00.200
somebody's presando. And I thought I
was my cousin because my cousin I

385
00:30:00.279 --> 00:30:03.279
knew they were Catholic. And I
was like, oh it did ask her

386
00:30:03.359 --> 00:30:07.200
or Hendry, you know, do
they come here to sleep over? And

387
00:30:07.440 --> 00:30:11.880
they didn't tell us. But then
I realized that it wasn't Spanish, it

388
00:30:11.920 --> 00:30:15.839
was Latin, and I was like
God, I was like, oh,

389
00:30:15.880 --> 00:30:21.559
I'm like and then I heard the
voice getting closer to me. No,

390
00:30:22.200 --> 00:30:26.759
have you ever seen the Mark once
the movie? Yes, so you know

391
00:30:26.119 --> 00:30:30.920
she towards the end, when Jesse
gets take over by the demon, you

392
00:30:30.079 --> 00:30:33.200
hear in the basement, you hear
the big steps bomb, bomb, bomb,

393
00:30:33.240 --> 00:30:37.319
and then you see him as Jesse. Okay, So I started hearing

394
00:30:37.319 --> 00:30:42.759
those steps from fun like I'm coming
close to my bed and I was like

395
00:30:44.119 --> 00:30:45.799
seven or eight because I was a
kid, and I was in my bump

396
00:30:45.839 --> 00:30:49.960
it. I was in the bottom
bumpet and it stopped right next to me.

397
00:30:51.000 --> 00:30:55.160
I could feel the Russia there and
I was like, oh from when,

398
00:30:55.200 --> 00:30:57.559
like someone's moving and then they stopped
moving and there's like a like a

399
00:30:57.640 --> 00:31:03.440
brand no, and I closed my
eyes and I wasn't moving. I was

400
00:31:03.559 --> 00:31:07.799
like, I'm not gonna move and
it's nothing, it's nothing. And then

401
00:31:07.880 --> 00:31:11.640
I felt huge chance go under my
pillow, but if they wanted to close

402
00:31:11.720 --> 00:31:18.160
it. And when I felt that, I screamed my parents simid money.

403
00:31:18.400 --> 00:31:22.519
They were like, it's just a
dream, but I kept on insisting I'm

404
00:31:22.559 --> 00:31:27.559
awake. I was never asleep.
Let something woke me up, and they

405
00:31:27.559 --> 00:31:30.720
were like no, no, no. But then again later on, I

406
00:31:32.000 --> 00:31:36.559
could hear my mom calling Guatemala to
my Christian grandma and Guatemala to pray for

407
00:31:36.559 --> 00:31:40.880
me. That I was that I
was, You're like that they believed you,

408
00:31:40.960 --> 00:31:42.880
but they wanted to like hide up
to like maybe calm you down.

409
00:31:44.440 --> 00:31:48.200
Oh that's so scary. Oh my
god, terrified. I'll never forget that.

410
00:31:48.799 --> 00:31:51.480
Yeah, it is so hard.
It's funny because it's so hard for

411
00:31:51.519 --> 00:31:55.119
me to talk about it because it
was it was so real it happened.

412
00:31:55.759 --> 00:32:00.359
Oh yeah, yeah, Oh my
god. Wow. It's like those stories

413
00:32:00.359 --> 00:32:04.880
like people, not me, but
other people have like that. They'll be

414
00:32:04.920 --> 00:32:09.039
like in bed and then they either
see the bed sink or feel like someone

415
00:32:09.119 --> 00:32:13.799
got on the bed and then they
can see it going down but nobody's there.

416
00:32:13.880 --> 00:32:17.240
Those are like so horrifying to me. Uh no, I again,

417
00:32:17.359 --> 00:32:23.480
I would just h that's why I
don't see anything. Oh that's horrible.

418
00:32:23.519 --> 00:32:28.079
The one time I have like heard
something, and I've also said it on

419
00:32:28.160 --> 00:32:31.279
here multiple times, but I was
with my mom and we were going to

420
00:32:31.799 --> 00:32:37.400
Burlington co Factory and I don't know
what it is with that Burlington co Factory

421
00:32:37.440 --> 00:32:42.160
because later my brother was like,
there's like a weird energy there and he

422
00:32:42.200 --> 00:32:47.960
sees things too, like my mom. He always apparently I don't know of

423
00:32:49.000 --> 00:32:52.400
them. That one is, yeah, and my mom we were in the

424
00:32:52.400 --> 00:32:54.920
store ones she was like, I
don't I don't like the energy here,

425
00:32:54.960 --> 00:32:59.119
like let's go. It's weird,
like there's there's a weird vibe. And

426
00:32:59.160 --> 00:33:02.359
I was like, oh, but
that same store before those before my brother

427
00:33:02.400 --> 00:33:07.400
and her said something. We were
walking into the store and like right right,

428
00:33:07.640 --> 00:33:09.599
we were leaving the car and no
one was near us. It was

429
00:33:09.640 --> 00:33:13.200
like a I don't know, cold, like winter morning. It was so

430
00:33:13.240 --> 00:33:16.079
empty and it was early. They
had just opened, so we were like

431
00:33:16.279 --> 00:33:20.119
stopping there to get a present on
our way to like a party, because

432
00:33:20.400 --> 00:33:23.359
we do everything last minute. Yeah, and so I didn't have any presents,

433
00:33:23.440 --> 00:33:25.920
right, and so that's why we
were there. Actually, I think

434
00:33:25.920 --> 00:33:29.519
we were doing very last minute Christmas
shopping and we were just there when they

435
00:33:29.519 --> 00:33:31.480
opened and nobody was there yet.
So we got out of the car and

436
00:33:31.519 --> 00:33:36.759
I heard like a little laugh,
like a kid laugh by my ear,

437
00:33:37.079 --> 00:33:39.519
and then I immediately screamed and a
mom my mom was like, oh my

438
00:33:39.599 --> 00:33:43.359
god, like calm down. It
was like I heard it too, like

439
00:33:43.440 --> 00:33:45.279
just whatever, just keep balking,
And I was like, what do you

440
00:33:45.319 --> 00:33:49.960
mean, what do you mean calm
down? Nike in and I was just

441
00:33:50.720 --> 00:33:53.000
freaking out in the park and now
she's like, I wasn't gonna say anything

442
00:33:53.039 --> 00:33:58.720
because you're over here being ext like
just whatever. It's like it's just passing

443
00:33:58.759 --> 00:34:01.000
by, like it's really it's whatever. And I was like, no,

444
00:34:01.519 --> 00:34:09.320
it's yeah, that's what she said. Yeah. I was literally dying about

445
00:34:09.360 --> 00:34:15.719
to throw up. Like and then
some people were leaving because Targets like two

446
00:34:15.760 --> 00:34:20.199
stores over. Some people were probably
leaving Target and just their car was by

447
00:34:20.199 --> 00:34:22.119
ours, but they weren't that close
to us. After after this, I

448
00:34:22.159 --> 00:34:25.280
was already like calming down, and
then one of them was like singing to

449
00:34:25.360 --> 00:34:28.920
the other one, these two ladies. And then when I heard them sing,

450
00:34:29.079 --> 00:34:31.679
I like screamed again because I hadn't
seen them. And then my mom

451
00:34:31.800 --> 00:34:36.079
was like if they're just walking and
then they were like laughing, and I

452
00:34:36.159 --> 00:34:38.679
was like, oh, I'm sorry. I was just startled. Those were

453
00:34:38.719 --> 00:34:43.920
actual people. But yeah again,
but yeah, and that's like the one

454
00:34:43.960 --> 00:34:46.639
time I actually heard something and yeah, like I said, I I was

455
00:34:47.480 --> 00:34:50.880
I annoyed my mom because I was
scared and I was like, Mom,

456
00:34:51.360 --> 00:34:54.519
again, you just be there for
me. And it was this was like

457
00:34:54.559 --> 00:34:58.480
two years ago. It wasn't I
was not like a child. It was

458
00:34:58.519 --> 00:35:05.599
literally two years ago. This is
what I'm saying. I love these stories.

459
00:35:05.760 --> 00:35:12.079
I'm a sucking waity like it just
happened. Oh my lord, yeah

460
00:35:12.079 --> 00:35:14.519
this is this is recent, like
two years ago. But this is why

461
00:35:14.559 --> 00:35:16.840
I'm saying. That's why I don't
see anything, because I would yeah.

462
00:35:19.480 --> 00:35:22.079
No, yeah, I was almost
throwing up and I was like, oh

463
00:35:22.119 --> 00:35:25.039
my god, what was that.
My mom was like, yeah, like

464
00:35:25.119 --> 00:35:30.960
stop, you're embarrassing me, Like, shut up, we're embarrassing Okay,

465
00:35:31.360 --> 00:35:39.320
yeah seriously, wow, oh man, yeah it was. It's funny now,

466
00:35:39.400 --> 00:35:42.800
but I'm just glad that I was
the only time I ever heard anything

467
00:35:44.159 --> 00:35:49.760
I couldn't imagine. No, yeah, it's very scary. It is not

468
00:35:49.840 --> 00:35:52.519
the best. I mean, they
used to pull my hair all the time

469
00:35:52.559 --> 00:35:54.480
when I was a kid, and
that was scary. That sounds horrible.

470
00:35:55.440 --> 00:36:00.119
That used to happened to MJ two. Oh really when you said when you

471
00:36:00.119 --> 00:36:02.559
were pregnant, yeah, I would
when I when I'm pregnant. Both times,

472
00:36:02.559 --> 00:36:07.480
whenever I'm pregnant, I feel like
my like you know when you have

473
00:36:07.519 --> 00:36:10.679
a toddler, and like they try
to grab your attention and sometimes they pull

474
00:36:10.719 --> 00:36:15.239
on your hair. Yeah, like
that all the time, and I would

475
00:36:15.280 --> 00:36:19.159
feel little hands on, like trying
to get my intention all the time.

476
00:36:19.559 --> 00:36:22.679
And then I was told that because
like when you're you're pregnant, you have

477
00:36:22.760 --> 00:36:28.119
that like really strong mom energy and
there's like, you know, whether it

478
00:36:28.199 --> 00:36:32.559
is like restless spirits or something else, but that's looking for that maternal figure

479
00:36:32.760 --> 00:36:37.360
that mom has sense per se,
like someone to take care of them,

480
00:36:37.639 --> 00:36:40.920
and they like search and like want
you to be kind of like their mom

481
00:36:42.000 --> 00:36:46.960
figures, so they like they try
to grab your attention, which is sad

482
00:36:47.119 --> 00:36:51.679
but also scary. Yeah. No, I just had a lot of nightmares

483
00:36:51.760 --> 00:36:54.360
when I was pregnant. And it's
funny because the doctor told me, oh,

484
00:36:54.360 --> 00:36:57.280
you're gonna have a lot of nightmares, and I was like, how

485
00:36:57.400 --> 00:37:00.639
is that normal? Like, yeah, I nightmares too. I had a

486
00:37:00.639 --> 00:37:04.800
lot of nightmares too, But for
me, a lot of it was like

487
00:37:05.519 --> 00:37:08.480
I would be in the kitchen or
doing something and I would feel little hands

488
00:37:08.480 --> 00:37:12.519
on me, like a little like
like a little toddler trying to grab my

489
00:37:12.559 --> 00:37:15.519
attention. And the second pregnancy was
weird because like my son was like four

490
00:37:16.119 --> 00:37:20.119
years old, so he was already
pretty pretty big, and he didn't like,

491
00:37:21.079 --> 00:37:23.000
you know, he didn't he spoke
and he didn't grab my attention that

492
00:37:23.039 --> 00:37:27.159
way, and sometimes would be like
like, like, do you need my

493
00:37:27.199 --> 00:37:30.000
attention? I turned back and then
nothing, there would be nothing. I'd

494
00:37:30.039 --> 00:37:34.320
be like, oh, and then
I'd see like my son sitting out like

495
00:37:34.400 --> 00:37:38.039
across the way somewhere else. It
wasn't him. Yeah, I was like

496
00:37:38.559 --> 00:37:42.800
I just die a little bit inside. You know. I was like,

497
00:37:42.840 --> 00:37:45.599
I pregnant. I could only wobble, but you know, it's fine.

498
00:37:46.000 --> 00:37:52.000
I can't run, It's fine.
That's so weird because I was told about

499
00:37:52.079 --> 00:37:54.960
vivid dreams when you're pregnant, and
I didn't have vivid dreams, but never

500
00:37:55.159 --> 00:38:00.199
nightmares except that time we were talking
about the white teoble. Yeah, that

501
00:38:00.280 --> 00:38:02.679
was crazy. What is that?
That was wild? Oh? Have you

502
00:38:02.719 --> 00:38:07.360
not? This is a legend from
Yucatan in Mexico, and it's like a

503
00:38:07.440 --> 00:38:13.400
shape shifting. I guess it's similar
to in a while or like a like

504
00:38:13.440 --> 00:38:16.840
a bruho that shape shifts, but
this is specifically called there's like a white

505
00:38:16.880 --> 00:38:22.159
chievo. There's a white back.
But it's basically like either half man half

506
00:38:22.559 --> 00:38:28.559
goat, half man, half cat, half man half dog. And they're

507
00:38:28.599 --> 00:38:32.360
only in the Yucatan and there's like
even a saying that's like be careful walking

508
00:38:32.440 --> 00:38:39.199
around midnight because the white chiebo is
roaming like and they're like supposed, like

509
00:38:39.519 --> 00:38:44.880
according to legend, very evil and
like they say that if you look at

510
00:38:44.880 --> 00:38:50.360
when you're you would get sick and
then like you can die. Oh and

511
00:38:51.800 --> 00:38:55.920
we we covered it. It was
like episode four when we were when we

512
00:38:55.920 --> 00:39:00.239
were researching, we both I think
we both had really like horrible dreams like

513
00:39:00.320 --> 00:39:06.679
mine and I've never had such a
vivid dream that felt so real like ever,

514
00:39:06.800 --> 00:39:08.559
and it was horrifying, like we
were in my house and in my

515
00:39:08.639 --> 00:39:15.800
dream we were sleeping and then suddenly
like the door like ripped open and someone

516
00:39:15.840 --> 00:39:17.559
like came in and they had a
gun. And then I was trying to

517
00:39:17.559 --> 00:39:21.840
wake my husband up in the dream
like like go get our gun, like

518
00:39:21.920 --> 00:39:23.760
someone's in the house. And he
went and wake up, which is like

519
00:39:24.000 --> 00:39:29.119
very realistic that he bitch sleep through
everything and I'm like, wake up,

520
00:39:29.480 --> 00:39:34.800
We're gonna die. And then yeah, so he like eventually he got up

521
00:39:34.840 --> 00:39:36.559
like oh my god, what's happening. I was like, get the gun.

522
00:39:36.599 --> 00:39:38.880
There's someone here, and then like
he was about to grab it and

523
00:39:38.920 --> 00:39:44.480
then like someone just like shot him
in the dream. And then like then

524
00:39:44.559 --> 00:39:49.440
I felt like at that moment,
I felt like something hit me at the

525
00:39:49.440 --> 00:39:52.679
same time. And then like I
don't know if I like imagined it,

526
00:39:52.719 --> 00:39:58.239
but like I heard like, oh
we we we have you now, oh,

527
00:39:58.400 --> 00:40:01.159
like in a deep voice, and
I think I forgot to say this

528
00:40:01.199 --> 00:40:05.239
part. I think I plucked it
out of my memory, honestly, but

529
00:40:05.280 --> 00:40:07.679
it was like oh, and it
was in Spanish and it was like,

530
00:40:07.800 --> 00:40:14.599
oh you you wanted to like,
oh you wanted this, we have you

531
00:40:14.679 --> 00:40:19.440
now. It was like so loud, and I woke up and I was

532
00:40:19.480 --> 00:40:22.480
like cold, like sweating. I
was and cold and like I touched my

533
00:40:22.519 --> 00:40:25.039
skin and I was like, yeah, it was like cold sweat, and

534
00:40:25.039 --> 00:40:30.480
I was like I felt like my
heart was like raising and I was like,

535
00:40:30.639 --> 00:40:32.199
oh my god. Then I woke
Then I did wake my husband up,

536
00:40:32.199 --> 00:40:35.920
and I was like I just had
a terrible dream. And I was

537
00:40:35.960 --> 00:40:40.000
like crying and I was like,
you die. But I've never felt so

538
00:40:40.280 --> 00:40:45.360
I've never felt like like a bang
like that like in my dream, like

539
00:40:45.400 --> 00:40:51.079
it was it was horrifying. M
it was yeah, And then me and

540
00:40:51.239 --> 00:40:54.199
my kids, both my kids were
having nightmare of that entire week scary.

541
00:40:54.400 --> 00:40:59.519
I mean yeah, and it was
like the same night that you had for

542
00:40:59.719 --> 00:41:02.000
me. Me and you had a
nightmare the same night. But my kids

543
00:41:02.079 --> 00:41:06.519
were having nightmares. I was having
well, I mean I tend to have

544
00:41:06.679 --> 00:41:09.719
nightmares, not all the time.
It's like not as much as when I

545
00:41:09.800 --> 00:41:15.119
was like, I don't I do
well, not all the time, but

546
00:41:15.800 --> 00:41:17.159
there was a point in time when
it was like, Okay, I have

547
00:41:17.199 --> 00:41:22.960
another nightmare. This time. It
had been a long long time since I

548
00:41:22.039 --> 00:41:28.039
had like night terrors, and my
kids never have them. For some reason,

549
00:41:28.119 --> 00:41:30.000
that week, it was just nightmare
after nightmare for my kids. And

550
00:41:30.000 --> 00:41:36.239
then the one day I had a
nightmare was the night that Christina also had

551
00:41:36.239 --> 00:41:38.880
a nightmare, which also the I
think it was either that day or the

552
00:41:38.960 --> 00:41:43.480
day before because I lived in an
apartment in the second second story, so

553
00:41:44.440 --> 00:41:47.440
you know, we're pretty high up. And me, my mom, and

554
00:41:47.519 --> 00:41:51.960
my kids were in the kitchen.
I was making I can't remember what,

555
00:41:52.079 --> 00:41:54.440
but like we had the family or
family over, or we were going to

556
00:41:54.519 --> 00:41:59.760
have the family over, and we
were cooking in the kitchen and then the

557
00:41:59.760 --> 00:42:04.039
next thing you know, it's like
banging on on the wall, like on

558
00:42:04.320 --> 00:42:07.559
the outside of my apartment and it's
like, we can't do that. We

559
00:42:07.639 --> 00:42:10.960
live, you know, on the
second floor, and and it was just

560
00:42:12.039 --> 00:42:15.840
banging, like like pounding, like
knocking, like somebody trying to get in

561
00:42:15.000 --> 00:42:19.360
through the wall. It was weird. And then we had what else,

562
00:42:19.800 --> 00:42:25.079
stuff falling from my bookshelf. It
was crazy, that was and then we

563
00:42:25.199 --> 00:42:29.079
finished the episode and then it went
back to normal. It was weird.

564
00:42:29.559 --> 00:42:34.480
Yeah, yeah, it was so
weird. And then m found out like,

565
00:42:34.840 --> 00:42:37.719
you, if you have like a
connection to Yukadan, this thing can

566
00:42:37.800 --> 00:42:43.239
like haunt you. She does,
Yeah, I do my aunt and she

567
00:42:43.280 --> 00:42:45.639
does. Yeah, my aunt is
from the Yukatan. She's uh my in

568
00:42:45.679 --> 00:42:51.440
descent yea, and yeah, her
her whole family is over there. She's

569
00:42:51.480 --> 00:42:54.079
my my aunt by marriage, but
like the familiar connection. She's been in

570
00:42:54.079 --> 00:42:57.599
my life since I was a little
kid. So she's like, you know,

571
00:42:58.000 --> 00:43:01.920
she's family and yeah, and I
do know that a few of her

572
00:43:02.039 --> 00:43:07.679
relatives are you know practice Oh and
I found that out like not not too

573
00:43:07.719 --> 00:43:10.679
long ago, and I was like
that was crazy. Yeah, that was

574
00:43:10.719 --> 00:43:14.079
like the worst time ever. I
was like I'm never looking at Yeah,

575
00:43:14.119 --> 00:43:16.159
we're like we're never looking this up
again. I haven't I have never looked

576
00:43:16.199 --> 00:43:22.079
for stories again. I will tell
I'll say what it is if someone asks.

577
00:43:22.599 --> 00:43:24.440
But I'm like, I'm never writing
notes on this. I'm not looking

578
00:43:24.440 --> 00:43:28.760
this up on the internet like I'm
no, this is like, no,

579
00:43:29.079 --> 00:43:34.039
it's a dead topic. Yes,
how interesting? Never again? Yeah,

580
00:43:34.119 --> 00:43:37.719
yeah. You know what's funny you
mentioned dreams and like all that stuff.

581
00:43:37.719 --> 00:43:43.039
It's funny because a couple of years
ago I heard that people were starting to

582
00:43:43.960 --> 00:43:49.119
you know how that there's there's apps
that record you while you sleep to manage

583
00:43:49.119 --> 00:43:52.800
you're snoring, or we're having some
kind of issues all that, or we're

584
00:43:52.880 --> 00:44:00.960
dreaming too much. People started capturing
voices so I can't want to see it

585
00:44:00.000 --> 00:44:06.519
now. And there was a story
I heard that this lady kept on hearing

586
00:44:06.519 --> 00:44:12.480
a voice talking to her and stuff
like what you just said, I might

587
00:44:12.559 --> 00:44:15.519
get you or something getting you.
And I was like, oh my god,

588
00:44:15.559 --> 00:44:20.239
it was me on that story.
And when I heard it, it

589
00:44:20.320 --> 00:44:23.000
was like a true crime thing.
And they didn't want to talk about it

590
00:44:23.039 --> 00:44:29.239
so much because it kind of became
like a paranormal subject. And I was

591
00:44:29.280 --> 00:44:31.079
like, I was interested. I
was like what, I was like,

592
00:44:31.159 --> 00:44:35.960
that is crazy, tell me more. I'd be wanting to get that app

593
00:44:36.079 --> 00:44:38.119
to manage my sleep because I used
to have issue sleeping. But then I

594
00:44:38.159 --> 00:44:42.320
was like, I don't want to
hear a freaking voice, you know,

595
00:44:42.480 --> 00:44:46.719
talking to me like no, thank
you. I just yeah, I'd rather

596
00:44:47.079 --> 00:44:53.639
live in blissful parents. I might
do it because because I see it well,

597
00:44:53.800 --> 00:44:58.079
like come come autumn, because you
know, like I always like start

598
00:44:58.280 --> 00:45:04.119
up seeing the shadow people. Well
between like the fall and in winter,

599
00:45:04.320 --> 00:45:07.400
that's the time where I see them
the most. So maybe like during October,

600
00:45:07.519 --> 00:45:09.159
Yes, all the time. I
see them all. Let me and

601
00:45:09.199 --> 00:45:13.159
my kids see them all the time. And we've had people who don't even

602
00:45:13.159 --> 00:45:15.280
see they're like, what the hell
is downs like, don't worry, It's

603
00:45:15.320 --> 00:45:19.800
just it's Philip people. Oh my
god, we named it. We named

604
00:45:19.840 --> 00:45:22.280
it it called And I always like, you know what, Philip, if

605
00:45:22.320 --> 00:45:25.199
anything else tried to haunt me,
you have to duke it out. Okay,

606
00:45:25.639 --> 00:45:29.800
you gotta you gotta claim your territory. You're allowed anything else. No,

607
00:45:30.199 --> 00:45:34.880
like you you fight whatever else is
around here, but only you do

608
00:45:35.079 --> 00:45:38.159
You only see them in your house? Yeah, well anywhere. I've seen

609
00:45:38.199 --> 00:45:43.760
them throughout my entire well, since
my teens, since my euteens because my

610
00:45:43.840 --> 00:45:47.679
first experience was a shadow person was
with the hat Man and I was like

611
00:45:47.800 --> 00:45:52.159
fifteen, and it was like in
my you know, I was in high

612
00:45:52.159 --> 00:45:55.920
school. I remember, I you
know, the thing I remember the most.

613
00:45:55.920 --> 00:46:01.119
It was a school night, and
then I had just finished doing homework

614
00:46:01.199 --> 00:46:04.559
and I don't know how long it
was asleep, but I remember I fell

615
00:46:04.599 --> 00:46:09.239
asleep and and I had forgotten to
turn off my what is those slam spit

616
00:46:09.320 --> 00:46:14.039
for like doing homework, like table
lamps, table lamps, and I forgot

617
00:46:14.079 --> 00:46:16.480
to turn off my table lamps.
So it wasn't like the big light on,

618
00:46:16.599 --> 00:46:21.519
but it was a light on.
And I woke up and I can't

619
00:46:21.599 --> 00:46:23.920
I don't know what time of the
night it was because it was I don't

620
00:46:23.960 --> 00:46:27.880
even know how long I was asleep. And then I see this weird like

621
00:46:27.960 --> 00:46:35.000
shadow person leaning on the door or
what I perceived as as leaning, and

622
00:46:35.000 --> 00:46:39.440
it was wearing like a like a
nineteen was it nineteen twenties a zoot suit

623
00:46:40.360 --> 00:46:47.639
with had a gangster I haven't had
a gangster shadow. And then and then

624
00:46:47.639 --> 00:46:51.880
I was like, that's a weird
shadow. It looks like a person.

625
00:46:52.039 --> 00:46:53.920
The next thing I know, I
just went back to sleep. I was

626
00:46:53.960 --> 00:47:00.400
like, okay, I'm done.
Like that's yeah, okay, whatever,

627
00:47:00.559 --> 00:47:02.840
you're you're weird, but you're fine. I'm going back to bed. But

628
00:47:02.880 --> 00:47:06.400
that's how usually what's it called?
Even when I see it at night,

629
00:47:06.480 --> 00:47:10.840
like a lot of the times they
see a shadow person, like yeah,

630
00:47:10.880 --> 00:47:14.639
you know, when it's dark and
everything, all you have it's like the

631
00:47:14.719 --> 00:47:20.360
outdoor light from either the moon or
whatever outdoor source, and I just see

632
00:47:20.400 --> 00:47:24.119
it and then I'm like okay,
and then I go back that I was

633
00:47:24.159 --> 00:47:29.960
about to tell you, like,
oh, you have an attachment. Yeah,

634
00:47:30.159 --> 00:47:32.559
maybe it's fine, but yeah,
probably, But I'm like, you

635
00:47:32.559 --> 00:47:36.199
know what, as long as he
keeps the other stuff at me, I

636
00:47:36.199 --> 00:47:39.760
don't care, Like I like,
protect me from everything else. Okay.

637
00:47:39.880 --> 00:47:44.519
Just at first, when I asked
you about your house, I was like,

638
00:47:44.559 --> 00:47:46.960
oh, I wonder if it's your
house spirits. I don't know if

639
00:47:47.000 --> 00:47:51.119
it was a house spirit. It
followed me from that house, but that

640
00:47:51.239 --> 00:47:55.719
house that where I had my first
shadow person encounter. That house had bad

641
00:47:55.840 --> 00:48:00.239
energy. You would hear someone on
the roof all the time, and you'd

642
00:48:00.239 --> 00:48:05.400
go outside and there's nobody. You
would see shadow people in the backyard and

643
00:48:05.400 --> 00:48:08.280
then you'd go open, because like
it was just me and my parents would

644
00:48:08.280 --> 00:48:12.559
work all the time, so I
would be home alone the most. And

645
00:48:12.639 --> 00:48:15.719
my brother while he lived there,
he was partying life at the time,

646
00:48:16.719 --> 00:48:21.239
so he would, you know,
come in and out. And sometimes I

647
00:48:21.280 --> 00:48:25.960
didn't know who was at home,
and I would see like someone in the

648
00:48:25.960 --> 00:48:30.880
backyard or in the side of the
house, and I would see like their

649
00:48:30.679 --> 00:48:35.480
their outlined. But then when you
would go and be like, oh,

650
00:48:35.519 --> 00:48:37.920
maybe it's my brother or maybe it's
my dad or something, nobody was there.

651
00:48:38.519 --> 00:48:45.280
And then that house just had so
much negative energy. I don't know

652
00:48:45.320 --> 00:48:50.880
what it was like. We would
hear people's voices of like family members,

653
00:48:50.880 --> 00:48:54.800
Like there was this one time we
heard my dad and my uncle's voice coming

654
00:48:54.840 --> 00:48:59.239
from the house when we were outside
barbecuing, and then my mom was like,

655
00:49:00.199 --> 00:49:02.039
she's my mom sends me inside to
see what's up, and I'm like,

656
00:49:02.079 --> 00:49:05.920
they're not here, And then my
mom calls my dad and my uncle

657
00:49:06.119 --> 00:49:08.159
and they're still up the store.
So this this this house that I was

658
00:49:08.159 --> 00:49:12.440
living at the time when I was
in high school, that it was just

659
00:49:12.920 --> 00:49:19.480
it was messed up. And then
something like mimicking yea of someone else that's

660
00:49:19.559 --> 00:49:22.880
like bad. That's yeah, because
like you'll see maybe sometimes some houses you'll

661
00:49:22.920 --> 00:49:27.400
see something, but it's not a
bad like it's just something that this sounds

662
00:49:27.480 --> 00:49:30.239
like getting through. But I think, yeah, when you hear like mimicking

663
00:49:30.239 --> 00:49:34.960
and I'm like, oh no,
And then you would here at night because

664
00:49:35.599 --> 00:49:43.159
my bedroom was like my parents' bedroom
where it was it led into the kitchen,

665
00:49:43.400 --> 00:49:47.559
but my bedroom led into the living
room, and the living room was

666
00:49:47.639 --> 00:49:53.559
hardwood floor, like old school hardwood
floor, and you would hear these like

667
00:49:54.159 --> 00:49:58.760
boots, like men's boots, you
know, like the work boots stomping,

668
00:49:58.960 --> 00:50:00.599
the phone ringing, and somebody pick
up and say hello, Oh no,

669
00:50:00.840 --> 00:50:04.800
it was like a dude, I
reason, and I'm like, that's weird,

670
00:50:06.039 --> 00:50:08.440
that's weird. That's weird. I'm
too tired. I'm going to bed.

671
00:50:09.840 --> 00:50:13.199
That's like my like, I don't
have time for this. I'm too

672
00:50:13.239 --> 00:50:20.239
tired. I'm going to bed.
I'm gonna dis associate now. Oh no.

673
00:50:20.519 --> 00:50:23.400
You know that's one thing, like
I'd never see anything, rarely hear

674
00:50:23.440 --> 00:50:27.280
anything. But I think energy is
like the one thing that I'm like,

675
00:50:27.360 --> 00:50:32.920
it feels heavier here, or it
feels weird and cold and heavy. That

676
00:50:34.079 --> 00:50:37.400
I will. I do feel like
my brother's room always feel colder and just

677
00:50:37.840 --> 00:50:42.960
I don't like being in here.
And then I've said this as well,

678
00:50:43.079 --> 00:50:45.960
but like my where my grandma lives
in Mexico, people here on marble falling

679
00:50:46.000 --> 00:50:51.199
down the stairs, and and one
of my cousins saw like a like a

680
00:50:51.719 --> 00:50:52.679
I want to say, it was
like the size of a three or four

681
00:50:52.719 --> 00:50:57.840
year old crouching down. You know
how people crouched down to I hit on

682
00:50:57.880 --> 00:51:01.039
marble. Yeah, he saw that
agre in the back not a backyard because

683
00:51:01.079 --> 00:51:05.239
nobody has backyards there. It was
like a it's all small, like batio.

684
00:51:05.360 --> 00:51:10.519
It has like just a place to
hang clothes and a washer and then

685
00:51:10.760 --> 00:51:15.559
that's it. That's all that's back
there. But upstairs is where the marble

686
00:51:15.559 --> 00:51:16.880
comes around. Man, upstairs it
always felt like I was like, I

687
00:51:16.920 --> 00:51:22.239
don't like being up there. It
feels cold, and it's just it's weird.

688
00:51:22.280 --> 00:51:24.239
It's a weird place. So I
know I will not go upstairs at

689
00:51:24.239 --> 00:51:29.239
all ever in that house. Yeah, And I'm like, I didn't know

690
00:51:29.559 --> 00:51:32.519
until I heard the story about the
marble, and I was like, oh

691
00:51:32.519 --> 00:51:37.000
my god, is that why I
didn't want to go up there? But

692
00:51:37.039 --> 00:51:39.280
I did, because when we first
went to Mexico we were like eight,

693
00:51:39.320 --> 00:51:43.159
and then again when we were twelve, and then I went again when I

694
00:51:43.199 --> 00:51:46.480
was like what like seven years ago
now, and every time I'm like,

695
00:51:46.559 --> 00:51:50.639
I do not go up there,
but I never knew why. And then

696
00:51:50.760 --> 00:51:54.079
this last time recently that I was
there two years ago now, but I

697
00:51:54.239 --> 00:51:58.800
was it a year ago. I
remember when I went last. Oh wait,

698
00:51:58.840 --> 00:52:00.320
no, it was recent. It
was recent, more recent because my

699
00:52:00.360 --> 00:52:04.800
two kids were already there because they
were there was That's how I could tell

700
00:52:04.840 --> 00:52:07.800
time now, So yeah, they
were there, and I still I don't

701
00:52:07.840 --> 00:52:09.920
go upstairs. But that's when I
already I finally knew about my marble because

702
00:52:09.920 --> 00:52:14.480
I had nobody told me until the
last time that I went over there.

703
00:52:14.519 --> 00:52:16.559
My mom told me, Yeah,
they knew because I went and set foot

704
00:52:16.599 --> 00:52:22.639
in the house. But they still
so and they haven't heard the marble again.

705
00:52:23.079 --> 00:52:28.880
It was his friends. Maybe I
don't know, yeah, maybe he's

706
00:52:28.920 --> 00:52:31.400
like, Okay, he's not here
anymore. We're together now, Yeah,

707
00:52:31.480 --> 00:52:36.119
we can move on. I don't
know. Yeah, but nobody knows,

708
00:52:36.199 --> 00:52:39.320
like what this thing could have been, who who could have been if it

709
00:52:39.440 --> 00:52:45.519
was an actual child, like because
nobody knows the house, yeah, instead

710
00:52:45.519 --> 00:52:47.559
of something else, right, but
the house, the house was built there,

711
00:52:47.599 --> 00:52:51.800
it wasn't there before, so I
don't know, like nobody knows.

712
00:52:52.000 --> 00:52:55.440
There's no story behind it. But
yeah, nobody hears it. So I

713
00:52:55.480 --> 00:52:59.039
can go and not be scared.
But I still won't go up stairs.

714
00:53:00.199 --> 00:53:04.440
That's scary. Yeah, yeah,
something about a marble. Just I was

715
00:53:04.519 --> 00:53:06.800
so scared that I was going to
hear it too. I was like,

716
00:53:07.360 --> 00:53:10.960
because the stairs go up and then
there's there's a room and like a little

717
00:53:10.960 --> 00:53:15.320
window in the room and you can
see the stairs behind you and when and

718
00:53:15.400 --> 00:53:19.920
the bed is against the wall and
the windows like right by your head.

719
00:53:19.960 --> 00:53:22.679
And I was like laying down on
the got it there? And I hear

720
00:53:22.679 --> 00:53:24.840
them marble. I better and I
hear them marble. Yeah. I'm almost

721
00:53:24.880 --> 00:53:28.119
like, you're not gonna You're not
gonna hear it. No one's heard it.

722
00:53:28.519 --> 00:53:31.599
I'm like, oh, you're like
yes, yeah. I felt safe.

723
00:53:32.679 --> 00:53:36.840
Then it came up to me,
right now, is I live in

724
00:53:37.880 --> 00:53:40.920
Victorian building? One of the originals
were reaching the Victorian buildings in Mela.

725
00:53:42.559 --> 00:53:47.679
So it was built in nineteen twenty
two and it's very old, very very

726
00:53:47.719 --> 00:53:52.599
old. We have issues with a
lot of plumbing, electricity and whatever,

727
00:53:52.159 --> 00:53:57.639
all that good stuff. But it
has history. I think at one point

728
00:53:58.360 --> 00:54:02.920
they told us that it was a
house for elderly people and they would pass

729
00:54:02.960 --> 00:54:07.760
away. So and I had we
moved from an apartment down the hall.

730
00:54:08.039 --> 00:54:12.239
We live in the front now,
but back when we used to live down

731
00:54:12.239 --> 00:54:15.639
the hall, a lot of bad
things happened to us there. That's where

732
00:54:15.400 --> 00:54:21.280
the pulling of the hair that your
ownA They will throw stuff in the middle

733
00:54:21.320 --> 00:54:23.800
of the night, and my mom, being Christian, always told me ignore

734
00:54:23.840 --> 00:54:28.559
it, ignore it nothing. And
I was like, it is, it

735
00:54:28.639 --> 00:54:31.440
is not nothing, It's like something's
happening. But she didn't want to talk

736
00:54:31.440 --> 00:54:37.480
about it, you know, in
the night, which is a typical thing

737
00:54:37.559 --> 00:54:42.039
that I see now and here now
is it's it's becausea sound funny, But

738
00:54:42.119 --> 00:54:45.480
I did. I did hear chains, you know, when when somebody's walking

739
00:54:45.960 --> 00:54:51.840
the chains. I was growing up, I will always think about it.

740
00:54:51.880 --> 00:54:54.800
I go, who's walking with chains? And they wanted to get up and

741
00:54:54.920 --> 00:54:59.639
see, but my dad always say, you don't want to see. Maybe

742
00:54:59.719 --> 00:55:05.000
what's pulling the chains? You know? Yes, yes, oh my god,

743
00:55:05.800 --> 00:55:10.440
that's so scary. And I always
tell my friends that it's down the

744
00:55:10.440 --> 00:55:15.440
hall. Down the hall is where
you feel the more paranormal activity than towards

745
00:55:15.440 --> 00:55:19.199
the front of the building. I
don't know, but I think maybe it's

746
00:55:19.199 --> 00:55:22.480
because there was a death in the
back or something. Yeah, something.

747
00:55:22.960 --> 00:55:27.320
And there was a lady in white
in the in the basement for a long

748
00:55:27.360 --> 00:55:30.280
time. I never saw her.
My sister never saw her, and she

749
00:55:30.360 --> 00:55:32.760
used to do her. She used
to watch in the middle of the night

750
00:55:32.920 --> 00:55:37.480
that she she liked that nobody was
around lunch. Yeah. Yeah, and

751
00:55:37.719 --> 00:55:40.559
she was like, I never saw
anything, and I either, but we

752
00:55:40.559 --> 00:55:45.679
will always hear people say there's a
lady in white in the basement. Wow,

753
00:55:46.199 --> 00:55:51.840
is this in Boil Heights. I'm
in downtown La. Okay, Okay,

754
00:55:51.880 --> 00:55:54.760
okay, because there's there's a It
was an old hospital and then it

755
00:55:54.840 --> 00:55:59.079
turned into an old home and I
think it's apartments now, but they say

756
00:55:59.079 --> 00:56:01.760
they're hunted and it's I think it's
somewhere in Boiled Hides. But I don't

757
00:56:01.800 --> 00:56:05.440
remember the name of the place,
but I'm like, this sounds familiar.

758
00:56:05.599 --> 00:56:09.559
I mean, yeah, mentioned the
hospital I used to work at that forever

759
00:56:09.639 --> 00:56:15.639
twenty one in Beverly Center. And
I don't know if you guys heard,

760
00:56:15.719 --> 00:56:21.079
but a guy an aligned himself in
the feeding room. Oh my god,

761
00:56:21.159 --> 00:56:23.320
I did not know. It was
around the time that I took some time

762
00:56:23.360 --> 00:56:28.559
off because of my kid, so
I wasn't there when it happened. But

763
00:56:29.480 --> 00:56:34.920
I did go back to work and
they closed down the feeding room and they

764
00:56:34.960 --> 00:56:38.719
couldn't use it, but workers we
we could use it. We started using

765
00:56:38.719 --> 00:56:45.360
it as a storage facility, and
me being spiritually, I would go in

766
00:56:45.519 --> 00:56:49.320
and i would talk to him.
I'm like, hey, I'm gonna be

767
00:56:49.440 --> 00:56:54.000
here. Don't not scare me.
The doors did close by themselves for no

768
00:56:54.119 --> 00:56:57.679
reason. I mean, and those
you know, those feeding room doors are

769
00:56:57.719 --> 00:57:00.480
heavy and they're like you have to
manually close them, are opened them,

770
00:57:00.840 --> 00:57:05.440
they would move my racks removed,
but I wasn't scared. One time,

771
00:57:06.119 --> 00:57:07.920
it was six in the morning,
Me and my co worker we went into

772
00:57:07.920 --> 00:57:12.840
work and I was doing something on
the ladder. So I was on top

773
00:57:12.880 --> 00:57:16.159
of the ladder doing something on the
wall, and my coworker comes running and

774
00:57:16.199 --> 00:57:21.480
she's like crying, and I'm like
what And I know that she was counting

775
00:57:21.519 --> 00:57:23.639
money, so I was like,
what happened? And she couldn't talk and

776
00:57:23.679 --> 00:57:27.280
she she's like a scary cat.
She was this little white girl and she

777
00:57:27.400 --> 00:57:30.880
was like, she's like me,
yeah, she was like she was like

778
00:57:30.519 --> 00:57:34.400
I could tell. I'm like,
oh my god, I thought to myself.

779
00:57:34.559 --> 00:57:37.360
Last to start, you know,
she said they scared her. Something

780
00:57:37.440 --> 00:57:39.360
scared her, and she was like
she so she was pointing at the feeding

781
00:57:39.440 --> 00:57:43.239
room and I go, oh my
god, and I go what happened?

782
00:57:43.559 --> 00:57:50.119
And I told her calm down,
and something from the wall just came flying

783
00:57:50.119 --> 00:57:53.960
out like for no reason. Oh, and she was supposed to go his

784
00:57:54.079 --> 00:58:00.239
stare go and I was like stop, I go stop, I go oh

785
00:58:00.360 --> 00:58:05.159
man, And then I was and
I was like, hey, you gotta

786
00:58:05.280 --> 00:58:12.440
quit it. We hear you leave
us alone. And later on I got

787
00:58:12.760 --> 00:58:16.000
another person on TikTok was talking about
it, how the Beverly Center is very

788
00:58:16.079 --> 00:58:20.920
hunted, and I'm like, I, yes, many, You're like,

789
00:58:21.000 --> 00:58:23.840
I can corroborate. Yes, A
lot of creepy stuff happened to us there,

790
00:58:23.920 --> 00:58:28.760
even before this guy, like things
who moved for them by themselves.

791
00:58:29.599 --> 00:58:32.320
You always hear people talking and there
was no one there, especially like in

792
00:58:32.400 --> 00:58:36.639
the rooms were like the storage rooms. So I was like, yeah,

793
00:58:36.760 --> 00:58:43.920
that is very true. Wow,
scary Okay, whoa before we go,

794
00:58:44.039 --> 00:58:47.199
first, thank you so much for
coming on. I was so excited to

795
00:58:47.199 --> 00:58:51.840
hear your stories. And wow,
I'm very honored. Thank you so much

796
00:58:51.880 --> 00:58:53.239
for having me. And I've been
a fan. I mean, when you

797
00:58:53.320 --> 00:58:55.280
contact me, I was like,
no way. I was like, oh

798
00:58:55.280 --> 00:59:01.119
my god. Yeah. If I
say someone has like an amazing story,

799
00:59:01.159 --> 00:59:06.159
I'm like, can you come on
the podcast please? Yeah. Yeah,

800
00:59:06.199 --> 00:59:08.079
We're not like like other podcasts are, like how many followers do you have?

801
00:59:08.280 --> 00:59:12.519
Like, oh my god, my
story. I'm I want to hear

802
00:59:12.559 --> 00:59:17.519
it. So I'm so glad I'm
building my following because I'm really excited and

803
00:59:19.039 --> 00:59:22.599
I have found the community and on
TikTok. And when you contact me,

804
00:59:22.639 --> 00:59:29.320
I was like, oh she saw
me, she saw me. Oh how

805
00:59:29.360 --> 00:59:34.400
funny. But every episode we give
a spooky recommendation. Anything movie. I

806
00:59:34.440 --> 00:59:37.159
mean it's usually a movie or a
show, but yeah, anything horror related.

807
00:59:37.199 --> 00:59:43.679
Do you have any spooky recommendations right
now? There's a new season of

808
00:59:43.760 --> 00:59:46.599
What We Do in the Shadows?
Yes, Oh my god. The last

809
00:59:46.639 --> 00:59:52.800
the two new episodes were hilarious.
I was screaming, it is funny.

810
00:59:53.039 --> 00:59:59.079
Yeah, I have to watch them
because I forgot to look and then I

811
00:59:59.119 --> 01:00:00.679
saw it said new and I was
like, no way, Oh my god,

812
01:00:00.960 --> 01:00:07.320
did you go I'm the Guatemalan horror
movie Orona. Yeah, oh my

813
01:00:07.400 --> 01:00:10.320
god. Yeah. I always talk
about that movie and I will die on

814
01:00:10.360 --> 01:00:15.320
that hill. I'm like, you
guys, it's so important for me personal

815
01:00:15.480 --> 01:00:19.239
you know, so good. Oh
yes, yeah, and my dad and

816
01:00:19.239 --> 01:00:22.480
my that's a that's a really good
movie. It happened. They're like they

817
01:00:22.559 --> 01:00:28.480
killed a lot of indigenous people.
M m yeah. Where did we?

818
01:00:28.679 --> 01:00:32.440
Oh? We did an episode with
Shaken Not Scared podcast. We talked about

819
01:00:32.480 --> 01:00:37.599
the movie and I think I don't
remember who. Someone did mention a little

820
01:00:37.599 --> 01:00:39.800
bit about what happened and how I
mean it was a real it was a

821
01:00:39.840 --> 01:00:44.480
real massacre and it I mean,
yeah, I'm very real. I think

822
01:00:44.519 --> 01:00:45.719
I was watching the movie. My
mom and dad were here, and my

823
01:00:45.800 --> 01:00:51.000
dad was like, oh my god, it's because she's in the piroom.

824
01:00:51.159 --> 01:00:57.280
Yeah, and then she's like this
uh activist, amazing woman. So yeah,

825
01:00:57.320 --> 01:01:00.599
if anyone has not seen the movie, it's on shutter. It's uh.

826
01:01:00.719 --> 01:01:01.960
I mean, it's really good.
It's worth of work, beautiful.

827
01:01:02.280 --> 01:01:07.559
Yeah. Yeah. My my mom
was like that was too slow for me

828
01:01:07.599 --> 01:01:12.639
because she needs like action packed.
But yeah, and I get it because

829
01:01:12.639 --> 01:01:15.840
there's people, but because it is
a slow burn and it's a subtle it's

830
01:01:16.000 --> 01:01:20.360
yeah, it was very unsteadily,
especially you know how she when she falls

831
01:01:20.400 --> 01:01:25.159
off of the her hair is you
see her? Oh my god? Yes,

832
01:01:25.559 --> 01:01:30.719
yeah. And then there's like little
science here and there of like oh,

833
01:01:30.840 --> 01:01:34.400
here's water, and then like the
sound. It's it's such a good

834
01:01:34.440 --> 01:01:37.880
movie that it just doesn't amazing.
I love her, I love her.

835
01:01:37.920 --> 01:01:40.440
She's there. Oh my god.
Yeah, it was like she's the mom.

836
01:01:40.679 --> 01:01:46.039
Should I cover up right through me? I was so excited when they

837
01:01:46.159 --> 01:01:51.800
cast her as the mom of that
Marble movie. They just came out,

838
01:01:52.000 --> 01:01:54.719
yeah, oh my god, I
name more yes, name no more?

839
01:01:55.880 --> 01:02:00.639
Yes, yes, because she's got
a malin And I was like, yes

840
01:02:00.400 --> 01:02:04.639
she is. She is, yeah, so beautiful. Yeah, and she's

841
01:02:04.639 --> 01:02:07.000
so good. That's that's an amazing
movie. I'm sure to think if I

842
01:02:07.000 --> 01:02:14.679
have any speaker recommendations, but I
don't think I've seen anything recently. Have

843
01:02:14.760 --> 01:02:16.159
I been watching? What have I
even been doing? I don't know.

844
01:02:16.559 --> 01:02:21.400
Look, im, Jake, do
you have any speaker recommendations? I have

845
01:02:22.039 --> 01:02:27.360
right now? Like what's it called? Getting all my research well, I

846
01:02:27.599 --> 01:02:30.519
wouldn't say research, but I'm like
really into anything having to do with Oppenheimer

847
01:02:30.599 --> 01:02:35.239
right now. For the movie.
Oh okay, I'm like, are you

848
01:02:35.239 --> 01:02:39.800
gonna Are you gonna do the Barbie
Oppenheimer Barbieheimer double feature? Like no,

849
01:02:39.880 --> 01:02:44.000
I'm thinking I'm just gonna watch Oppenheimer, Like I want to watch Barbie.

850
01:02:44.239 --> 01:02:49.639
But then I'm like, my attention
span wouldn't never like Bobby. I'd rather

851
01:02:49.639 --> 01:02:53.199
watch Barbie than Oppenheimer. It looks
fun, but it also looks like something

852
01:02:53.239 --> 01:02:58.000
i'd watch at home. Oh.
I don't know, we'll see, but

853
01:02:58.320 --> 01:03:01.719
we for I'm for sure watching oppen
because I prefer those kinds of movies and

854
01:03:01.880 --> 01:03:07.960
like Barbie. Uh so it does
look interesting. And I did hear as

855
01:03:07.000 --> 01:03:10.159
a Ken song and I'm like,
I might just go for the Ken song.

856
01:03:12.360 --> 01:03:16.719
Yes, but yeah, So I'm
like just researching and like listening to

857
01:03:16.760 --> 01:03:22.599
a lot of like Manhattan Project stuff, which to me is like real life

858
01:03:22.599 --> 01:03:27.719
horror because I'm like, damn,
like the level of shit that went down

859
01:03:27.719 --> 01:03:30.760
with that. I mean, honestly, fuck the US for dropping the atomic

860
01:03:30.880 --> 01:03:37.320
bomb. I watched a horrible documentary
years ago on the aftermath of everyone that

861
01:03:37.440 --> 01:03:43.119
lived there and the effects of the
bomb on everyone that like didn't pass away

862
01:03:43.360 --> 01:03:45.960
in the surrounding areas, and it's
wild and it's horrible, and I'm like,

863
01:03:46.039 --> 01:03:49.159
and a lot I think a lot
of people too, Like when they

864
01:03:49.159 --> 01:03:52.159
were dropping it over there, it
was in Nevada, a lot of people,

865
01:03:52.599 --> 01:03:58.880
yes, ended up really sick.
So like it's it's like almost like

866
01:03:58.920 --> 01:04:00.280
the same thing as like an orange. They were like, hey, let's

867
01:04:00.280 --> 01:04:04.719
just see what happens. Yeah,
and then and then it affects like they're

868
01:04:05.360 --> 01:04:08.960
like, you know, the United
States citizens, like the people they're supposed

869
01:04:08.960 --> 01:04:13.400
to protect them, they're fucking over. Yeah, but that's what I'm into.

870
01:04:13.639 --> 01:04:15.960
Yeah. We did an episode on
my other podcast the story as are

871
01:04:16.000 --> 01:04:18.480
known. I think I was Zone
who covered it. But during World War

872
01:04:18.559 --> 01:04:25.239
two and Puerto Rico, what Puerto
Rican soldiers were sent out to somewhere else

873
01:04:25.599 --> 01:04:28.800
was it? I don't think it
was Venezuela. It was like another Latin

874
01:04:28.840 --> 01:04:32.639
American country and they were deployed over
THEIRS and they were tested experimented on with

875
01:04:32.800 --> 01:04:38.239
like agent orange and the effects of
it, but without their like consent,

876
01:04:40.440 --> 01:04:44.519
horrible horrible stuff and like it just
and then they weren't like compensated for it

877
01:04:44.639 --> 01:04:48.159
until like five years ago, and
many of the veterans have then like since

878
01:04:48.159 --> 01:04:51.400
then passed away, and it's like, why they weren't you paying for their

879
01:04:51.400 --> 01:04:56.320
healthcare? So many of them got
cancer from this. Yeah, horrible stuff,

880
01:04:56.360 --> 01:04:58.880
Yeah, the same thing, real
life horrors. Oh my god,

881
01:04:58.880 --> 01:05:02.519
that's horrible. Yeah, terrible,
terrible. Anyway, Yes, thank you

882
01:05:02.519 --> 01:05:06.719
so much for coming on. It
was so fun. Oh my gosh,

883
01:05:08.159 --> 01:05:11.360
do you want to tell everyone where
to find you on TikTok. It's a

884
01:05:11.400 --> 01:05:15.480
great tetok account and you need I'm
like, you need more. We need

885
01:05:15.519 --> 01:05:19.320
to get her to like I don't
know, so yes, tell us your

886
01:05:19.360 --> 01:05:24.519
handle and I'll link it in the
show notes too. So my TikTok is

887
01:05:24.960 --> 01:05:30.280
Graves b R A B E Z
three three three at TikTok and you can

888
01:05:30.320 --> 01:05:38.920
find me on Instagram just took up
from with Castillo or Ruthie Escobar Graves eyes

889
01:05:39.039 --> 01:05:43.840
three three three and you'll find me. You'll find a little arts stuff and

890
01:05:44.400 --> 01:05:54.039
my personal and follow me anything spooky, creative, everything, paranormal. Yes,

891
01:05:54.840 --> 01:05:57.920
I mean, and that's what all
our listeners left. Yes, thank

892
01:05:57.920 --> 01:06:02.119
you so much, right in,
Yeah, thank you, And before we

893
01:06:02.239 --> 01:06:05.400
go, I forgot to announce it
and all the other episodes that we've done

894
01:06:05.400 --> 01:06:11.920
in this month, MJ. But
starting August first, I think every Monday

895
01:06:11.960 --> 01:06:15.239
we're gonna have one extra episode.
They're just super short episodes of like just

896
01:06:15.360 --> 01:06:20.480
one short story and it's just one
like straight through narrative, not like both

897
01:06:20.519 --> 01:06:26.400
of us talking back and forth,
and there's like sound effects and a little

898
01:06:26.400 --> 01:06:29.679
bit of sound design. So and
they're like very short, like less than

899
01:06:29.719 --> 01:06:34.639
ten minutes, because I don't know
how to write long's. It's like a

900
01:06:34.679 --> 01:06:38.760
longer version of tik talk. Yeah, I'm excited for it. I have

901
01:06:38.920 --> 01:06:42.440
like four already recorded and ready to
go, and hopefully I don't fall behind.

902
01:06:42.480 --> 01:06:46.400
I might because you know it anyway. Yeah, but we'll see.

903
01:06:46.480 --> 01:06:49.360
Hopefully I keep it going because it's
been a lot of fun making the ones

904
01:06:49.400 --> 01:06:53.599
that I have made so far.
So yeah, if you want a short,

905
01:06:53.719 --> 01:06:56.840
you know, more serious story,
then tune in on Mondays and then

906
01:06:56.840 --> 01:07:00.440
our regular episodes are we friending us
always and yeah, Spooky, if you

907
01:07:00.480 --> 01:07:03.280
see a beautiful woman in the middle
of the field, you'll leave her there,

908
01:07:03.360 --> 01:07:11.000
you don't follow her, okay,
and stay a spooky. We'll catch

909
01:07:11.000 --> 01:07:21.480
everyone next time. Bye bye,

924
01:08:24.560 --> 01:08:28.880
so comfy, it's warm, it
has spooky and old English letters. There's

925
01:08:28.920 --> 01:08:31.560
also a baseball hat in the same
way as Spooky and old English letters,

926
01:08:31.560 --> 01:08:34.680
and that's what I wear in the
summers. They're both awesome hats, and

927
01:08:34.720 --> 01:08:38.760
there's other things in there, like
the no Mama's shirts, which is a

928
01:08:38.880 --> 01:08:42.600
very popular shirt. If you like
