On June 11th, 2018, Fabian Caceres left his home and enated the double femicide of Gabriela Alcaíno Donoso and Carolina Donoso. This led to the passing of Gabriela's law in Chile, changing the way femicide is classifed forever.

1
00:00:05.320 --> 00:00:08.839
Hello, Hello, This is Christina and Carmen and this is

2
00:00:08.880 --> 00:00:11.400
another episode of a Booky Tells, a podcast for all

3
00:00:11.439 --> 00:00:15.480
things as Spooky, Haunted Places, myths, legends, and true crime

4
00:00:15.599 --> 00:00:19.079
in Latin America. And it is still March, and I

5
00:00:19.079 --> 00:00:21.000
think it's still going to be March when this episode

6
00:00:21.000 --> 00:00:24.760
comes out. Yeah, and every March we try to cover

7
00:00:25.719 --> 00:00:30.320
femicides that we feel everyone should know about because it's

8
00:00:30.359 --> 00:00:34.320
Women's History month and also the eighth of March is

9
00:00:34.359 --> 00:00:37.359
when women in Latin America go out in March for

10
00:00:37.960 --> 00:00:41.560
women's rights. And so yeah, we do that every March.

11
00:00:41.640 --> 00:00:45.000
And this is the last episode where we're doing only

12
00:00:45.159 --> 00:00:50.039
a femicide case. And we don't have a listener story

13
00:00:50.280 --> 00:00:52.000
for these episodes. But if you have a story that

14
00:00:52.000 --> 00:00:53.759
you want to send to us, you can email Uspookyitees

15
00:00:53.840 --> 00:00:57.079
at gmail dot com, send it via DM you can

16
00:00:57.159 --> 00:00:58.799
leave it as a comment, you can call you a

17
00:00:58.840 --> 00:01:01.280
Spooky hotline. There's so many ways to get us for

18
00:01:01.479 --> 00:01:04.760
stories and we love receiving them. Today, I am telling

19
00:01:04.760 --> 00:01:13.000
you about a double femicide that changed Chile's law. Gabriela

20
00:01:13.079 --> 00:01:16.359
Alcaino Donoso was born on the seventeenth of May two

21
00:01:16.760 --> 00:01:22.439
one in Santiago, Chile. Her parents were Carolina Donoso Campos

22
00:01:22.480 --> 00:01:26.120
and Fabian Alcaino. She was their first kid and the

23
00:01:26.200 --> 00:01:31.359
first grandchild in the family. Special. Yes, she became La

24
00:01:31.359 --> 00:01:35.400
Concentia de todos, the everyone's favorite, A spoiled one, but

25
00:01:35.439 --> 00:01:39.640
like spoiled with love. Yeah, especially her Grandpa Carlos and

26
00:01:39.680 --> 00:01:44.000
her Theo Rodrigo. They loved her so much. As a child,

27
00:01:44.040 --> 00:01:47.560
she was described as always happy, sweet kind, but also

28
00:01:47.599 --> 00:01:53.159
a little shy, but she got along with everyone. Her

29
00:01:53.200 --> 00:01:55.920
parents sput up when she was five and her father

30
00:01:56.040 --> 00:02:00.319
married remarried a woman named Catlina Veas. I went on

31
00:02:00.359 --> 00:02:03.319
to have two kids, but they growl parented well with

32
00:02:03.359 --> 00:02:06.239
Gabriela's mom and by all accounts, they were still there.

33
00:02:06.400 --> 00:02:08.599
He was still there for Gabriela, because you know, sometimes

34
00:02:08.599 --> 00:02:11.400
there's a what they start a new family and they

35
00:02:11.479 --> 00:02:15.560
leave completely their their old family behind. Yeah, yeah, this

36
00:02:15.719 --> 00:02:20.960
was not the case here. She loved her siblings. Despite

37
00:02:21.000 --> 00:02:23.800
the divorce and the two separate households, she remade her

38
00:02:23.800 --> 00:02:28.240
happy selves. This all changed when she turned fifteen and

39
00:02:28.400 --> 00:02:33.159
began dating Fabian Casa and I will refer to him

40
00:02:33.759 --> 00:02:37.240
by Gassett is not Fabian, because then I think we

41
00:02:37.240 --> 00:02:41.080
would confusing with his dad with her dad. Oh wait,

42
00:02:41.240 --> 00:02:44.159
I didn't realize his name was Fabian too. Whoops. Yeah,

43
00:02:44.159 --> 00:02:46.960
the dad's name is Fabian as well. So he will

44
00:02:47.000 --> 00:02:50.520
be Gassidis from now on, okay. And so he went

45
00:02:50.560 --> 00:02:52.960
to the same school. He was only one year older

46
00:02:52.960 --> 00:02:56.280
than her. He seemed like a normal teen, calm and

47
00:02:56.319 --> 00:02:59.719
from a good family. Everyone said his parents were good people,

48
00:03:00.199 --> 00:03:06.800
raising their kids well, and the relationship was normal. But

49
00:03:07.599 --> 00:03:13.719
after a few weeks things changed. Gassttes became controlling and

50
00:03:13.800 --> 00:03:16.080
started telling her who she could or could not be

51
00:03:16.159 --> 00:03:19.240
friends with, and then he began to alienate her from

52
00:03:19.280 --> 00:03:24.000
her friends. Gabriela Stio tried to get her to introduce

53
00:03:24.280 --> 00:03:27.000
Gassides to him, but this never happened. She would like

54
00:03:27.039 --> 00:03:30.319
make up an excuse out to excuse her dad. Fabian

55
00:03:30.520 --> 00:03:33.000
did get a chance to talk to casside Is and

56
00:03:33.159 --> 00:03:37.479
asked him to be like good to her, right to

57
00:03:37.560 --> 00:03:42.159
take care of Gabriela, to be a responsible boyfriend, and

58
00:03:42.840 --> 00:03:45.479
Gassidez said he would respect her and that it would

59
00:03:45.479 --> 00:03:50.479
be a quote lovely courtship. But that's not what happened.

60
00:03:51.479 --> 00:03:55.159
He continued to alienate her from her friends. He wanted

61
00:03:55.199 --> 00:03:57.199
to know who she was with at all times and

62
00:03:57.240 --> 00:04:00.000
where she was at all times. He demanded she answered

63
00:04:00.240 --> 00:04:03.759
every single phone call of his every text right away.

64
00:04:04.039 --> 00:04:06.400
When she didn't do those things, he became very mean

65
00:04:06.479 --> 00:04:11.639
and even violent at some points. She then became quiet, reserved,

66
00:04:11.680 --> 00:04:16.720
and withdrawn, and she kept his behavior to herself, but

67
00:04:16.759 --> 00:04:20.319
her family could tell that something was wrong. She tried

68
00:04:20.399 --> 00:04:24.120
to leave him a few times but couldn't. Then, one

69
00:04:24.199 --> 00:04:28.040
year until the relationship, Cassides was accused of abusing two

70
00:04:28.120 --> 00:04:32.879
girls during a school dance, and although the case never

71
00:04:32.920 --> 00:04:36.759
went to court, he was expelled from school, and it

72
00:04:36.839 --> 00:04:40.279
was thanks to this explosion that Gabriela was able to

73
00:04:40.319 --> 00:04:43.480
get away from him. She didn't see him at school anymore,

74
00:04:43.560 --> 00:04:47.240
so it was easier to finally end things for good,

75
00:04:48.079 --> 00:04:52.040
except when he began to follow her, even showing up

76
00:04:52.040 --> 00:04:59.920
at her house unannounced. Some months went by like this,

77
00:05:00.040 --> 00:05:02.000
and he seemed to finally have gotten the hint and

78
00:05:02.519 --> 00:05:05.319
left her alone, and she was getting back to her

79
00:05:05.360 --> 00:05:10.600
normal self, even studying for university exams, and then he reappeared.

80
00:05:11.199 --> 00:05:13.560
How much time passed? Do you know? I just read

81
00:05:13.600 --> 00:05:17.120
a few months? Oh? Okay? After this this is how

82
00:05:17.160 --> 00:05:20.160
things were. He would show up, follow her, not leave

83
00:05:20.199 --> 00:05:22.480
her alone, then disappear and then just do the same

84
00:05:22.480 --> 00:05:25.160
thing all over again. Oh wow. So basically she didn't

85
00:05:25.160 --> 00:05:29.839
know when he was going to pop up. Yeah, but

86
00:05:29.879 --> 00:05:32.959
by this point Gabriela had so much going on that

87
00:05:33.000 --> 00:05:36.120
she wasn't paying attention to him anymore. Her stepmother had

88
00:05:36.160 --> 00:05:40.399
just been murdered by her neighbor, who was a hair silist,

89
00:05:40.600 --> 00:05:45.199
a Dominican hair stilust in chilem. They had gotten into

90
00:05:45.240 --> 00:05:50.120
an argument and he murdered her. And so now her

91
00:05:50.160 --> 00:05:55.000
father obviously is distraught and now raising Gabriela's two siblings

92
00:05:55.040 --> 00:05:57.879
on his own, and Gabriel and her mom were there

93
00:05:57.920 --> 00:06:00.279
for him, supported him in every way that they could,

94
00:06:01.319 --> 00:06:06.920
And so she was going through this and then Casserees reappeared.

95
00:06:07.000 --> 00:06:10.360
He started stalking her again. He would show up wherever

96
00:06:10.399 --> 00:06:14.000
she was. He pretended to run into her, but then

97
00:06:14.040 --> 00:06:18.199
he started jumping the fence into her yard again like escalating. Yes,

98
00:06:19.639 --> 00:06:22.360
she sent a message like a voice message to her

99
00:06:22.399 --> 00:06:25.519
friends telling them that she was so tired of his

100
00:06:25.680 --> 00:06:28.000
abuse and that she would now let him place another

101
00:06:28.040 --> 00:06:29.959
hand on her. And she was just tired of this

102
00:06:30.839 --> 00:06:34.480
and so now she started going straight from school to

103
00:06:34.560 --> 00:06:36.839
her mom's work, and she stayed there after school and

104
00:06:36.839 --> 00:06:39.360
to her mom was done working, then they would walk

105
00:06:39.399 --> 00:06:42.879
home together. She was always with at least one friend,

106
00:06:43.040 --> 00:06:45.680
never alone, so that he wouldn't find her by herself.

107
00:06:46.839 --> 00:06:49.319
And by now we're in the middle of twenty eighteen,

108
00:06:49.920 --> 00:06:52.920
she just has a few months left to finish her studies.

109
00:06:53.759 --> 00:06:56.600
She was planning to become a journalist, just like her

110
00:06:56.639 --> 00:07:02.560
Theo Rodrigo. She had plans and that unfortunately never came

111
00:07:02.600 --> 00:07:08.800
to fruition. On June tenth, twenty eighteen, Gabriella's dad, Fabian,

112
00:07:09.199 --> 00:07:13.279
dropped her off to take her university selection test and

113
00:07:13.319 --> 00:07:15.439
when she was done, he picked her up. They chatted

114
00:07:15.480 --> 00:07:19.279
about her future. Gabriela told him she wanted to finish

115
00:07:19.399 --> 00:07:22.720
university and make a decent enough living to help her

116
00:07:22.720 --> 00:07:26.920
mom out. Later that same day, the family reunited again

117
00:07:27.120 --> 00:07:30.720
along with another thirty family members to celebrate her grandpa's

118
00:07:30.720 --> 00:07:36.639
eighty first birthday. She played with her cousins, talked, eight dance,

119
00:07:36.839 --> 00:07:40.560
had a good time. At some point during this party,

120
00:07:40.839 --> 00:07:43.639
her Theo Rodrigo went and asked her how she was doing,

121
00:07:43.720 --> 00:07:47.160
and she told them surviving and this answer worried him.

122
00:07:47.240 --> 00:07:49.079
He was like, what do you mean surviving girl? Yeah,

123
00:07:49.160 --> 00:07:50.800
He's like, you should be living like the best times

124
00:07:50.800 --> 00:07:55.279
of your life right now exactly. And when he showed

125
00:07:55.319 --> 00:07:58.279
concern over her answer, she was like, I'll explain everything

126
00:07:58.319 --> 00:08:02.759
another time. And so then the party came to an end.

127
00:08:03.319 --> 00:08:06.240
Gabriela and her mom said bye to everyone, and her

128
00:08:06.360 --> 00:08:10.720
dad told Gabriela that she was quote loke mas amo

129
00:08:10.800 --> 00:08:16.120
and labidam. Oh, you are what I love most in life.

130
00:08:16.199 --> 00:08:18.680
And he didn't know it, but those would be the

131
00:08:18.720 --> 00:08:24.000
last words he would say to her. Oh my god. Yeah.

132
00:08:24.360 --> 00:08:28.920
The next morning, at four am, Gasaidz left his house

133
00:08:29.120 --> 00:08:32.440
with a knife hidden in his clothes. He walked to

134
00:08:32.480 --> 00:08:36.360
Gabriela's house and jumped the fence into the yard. That's

135
00:08:36.399 --> 00:08:40.320
when Carolina, Gabriela's mom opened the door to see what

136
00:08:40.519 --> 00:08:43.440
the noise was that she heard. The moment she opened

137
00:08:43.440 --> 00:08:46.720
the door, he was there and he immediately stamped her

138
00:08:46.840 --> 00:08:54.279
thirty one times, Oh my god, thirty one times. Then

139
00:08:54.320 --> 00:08:57.759
he went into the house looking for Gabriela. She had

140
00:08:57.799 --> 00:09:00.639
heard her mom screams as it was happening, and so

141
00:09:00.679 --> 00:09:04.759
she ran to call emergency services. And she was four

142
00:09:04.799 --> 00:09:08.759
minutes into her call with emergency services. But he found

143
00:09:08.759 --> 00:09:11.799
her and took the phone, and so I don't I

144
00:09:11.840 --> 00:09:16.559
couldn't find like a copy of this call. I'm wondering

145
00:09:16.600 --> 00:09:19.440
why in that moment, like, well, you'll see, okay. So

146
00:09:20.840 --> 00:09:24.720
he took the phone, hung up, and he then sexually

147
00:09:24.720 --> 00:09:29.399
assaulted her and then stamped her. Oh my god. Then

148
00:09:29.440 --> 00:09:31.720
he dragged her to the kitchen. He did the same

149
00:09:31.759 --> 00:09:34.519
with her mom. He left them there. He walked to

150
00:09:34.639 --> 00:09:39.039
their bathroom, washed the blood off himself, attempted to wash

151
00:09:39.080 --> 00:09:41.480
his shoes as well, like clean them, and then he

152
00:09:41.519 --> 00:09:45.360
went back home. He even posted a selfie of himself

153
00:09:46.120 --> 00:09:50.279
on Instagram that day with his guitar. I just don't

154
00:09:50.320 --> 00:09:52.919
know how someone just goes on like after doing such

155
00:09:52.919 --> 00:09:57.879
a horrible thing. But you have to be obviously unstable,

156
00:09:57.960 --> 00:10:01.679
un well, violent, not care about people to do something

157
00:10:01.679 --> 00:10:03.679
like that in the first place. Next that people. But

158
00:10:03.679 --> 00:10:05.919
I guess I should say women be a woman. I

159
00:10:05.960 --> 00:10:09.120
was gonna say, you have to view women as objects

160
00:10:09.159 --> 00:10:12.200
objects to have to be able to do this and

161
00:10:12.240 --> 00:10:15.320
then just go about your day. Yeah, post himself, he's

162
00:10:15.360 --> 00:10:20.720
on Instagram. Wow, that day went by at there on

163
00:10:20.759 --> 00:10:27.480
the morning of the twelfth of June, Gabriela Stillo received

164
00:10:27.480 --> 00:10:29.799
a message when he was at work and it was

165
00:10:29.840 --> 00:10:33.519
a woman named Marcella who was a coworker of Carolinas,

166
00:10:33.559 --> 00:10:38.120
and Carolina again is Gabriela's mom, and she was worried

167
00:10:38.240 --> 00:10:41.679
because Carolina never missed the day of work. So then

168
00:10:42.120 --> 00:10:46.879
Rodrigo called Fabian, who didn't know anything, like, oh, I

169
00:10:46.879 --> 00:10:48.840
I don't know why she's not at work, but he

170
00:10:48.840 --> 00:10:52.039
also found it strange, and he found it even stranger

171
00:10:52.120 --> 00:10:55.000
that Gabriela had not sent a happy birthday message to

172
00:10:55.120 --> 00:10:59.399
one of her younger brothers. That was also weird, and

173
00:10:59.480 --> 00:11:03.080
so then they called Gabriela school to see if she

174
00:11:03.159 --> 00:11:06.480
was there, but the school didn't answer, So then Fabian

175
00:11:06.759 --> 00:11:10.120
tried to call both Gabriela and Carolina, but neither answered.

176
00:11:11.080 --> 00:11:14.480
He finally got hold of the school and learned that

177
00:11:14.519 --> 00:11:17.960
she hadn't made it to school yet, and so he

178
00:11:18.000 --> 00:11:20.559
continued trying to reach them as he drove over to

179
00:11:20.600 --> 00:11:23.399
their house, and as he was driving, he was like

180
00:11:23.519 --> 00:11:26.000
telling himself, like, please let the car not be there,

181
00:11:26.039 --> 00:11:29.720
because that means that they just went somewhere. Please let

182
00:11:29.720 --> 00:11:31.840
the car not be there. But then he oh, I

183
00:11:31.879 --> 00:11:34.519
can't imagine how he found that feeling. Right, he pulled

184
00:11:34.600 --> 00:11:36.360
up and he saw the car there, and he was like,

185
00:11:36.480 --> 00:11:41.039
oh my god, something has to be wrong. Yeah, and

186
00:11:41.120 --> 00:11:44.159
he had a pair of keys to the house, but

187
00:11:44.240 --> 00:11:46.720
he was afraid to go inside because he saw the

188
00:11:46.759 --> 00:11:49.559
car there. And he was like, this means like something

189
00:11:49.720 --> 00:11:53.840
horrible has to have happened. Yeah, And so he called

190
00:11:53.840 --> 00:11:56.159
his brother and he's like, look, I have the keys,

191
00:11:56.200 --> 00:11:58.120
but I don't know what to do. I don't want

192
00:11:58.159 --> 00:12:00.320
to go in, like I'm scared of what I'm going

193
00:12:00.399 --> 00:12:03.360
to see. But as he was talking to his brother

194
00:12:04.159 --> 00:12:06.960
Rodrigo about this, a neighbor walked up to them and

195
00:12:07.000 --> 00:12:09.000
she's like, hey, walked up to him and she's like, hey,

196
00:12:09.039 --> 00:12:11.039
I don't want to worry you, but I heard some

197
00:12:11.159 --> 00:12:15.039
screaming very early in the morning. I didn't think much

198
00:12:15.080 --> 00:12:17.200
of it. I thought it was just a fight, especially

199
00:12:17.200 --> 00:12:19.480
because the screaming was over in just a few minutes.

200
00:12:20.440 --> 00:12:23.279
And then she left, and then he was like, oh

201
00:12:23.360 --> 00:12:26.879
my god, like it even worse, Yes, exactly. This made

202
00:12:26.919 --> 00:12:29.399
him even more nervous. So then he called the police,

203
00:12:29.919 --> 00:12:34.759
who took over forty minutes to get there. Finally around

204
00:12:34.840 --> 00:12:38.799
ten fifty in the morning. The police got there, and

205
00:12:38.840 --> 00:12:40.639
as soon as I got there, he was like, Hey,

206
00:12:40.879 --> 00:12:45.200
I'm five yen. This is like my daughter in her

207
00:12:45.240 --> 00:12:47.720
mom's house. I have keys to the house, but I

208
00:12:47.759 --> 00:12:50.080
haven't gone in because I'm scared. Oh. Five b Young

209
00:12:50.120 --> 00:12:52.279
got there too. Five Young has been there the whole time.

210
00:12:52.320 --> 00:12:54.399
The neighbor went up to Oh, I thought it was

211
00:12:54.399 --> 00:12:57.000
the uncle. Oh no, he was on the phone with

212
00:12:57.000 --> 00:13:01.480
the uncle. Oh. Yeah, yeah, he was on the phone

213
00:13:01.519 --> 00:13:04.600
with the uncle. I thought the uncle the whole time

214
00:13:04.639 --> 00:13:06.480
was the one that was going over there, that he

215
00:13:06.559 --> 00:13:10.200
had the key, and that he called had the key. Well,

216
00:13:10.240 --> 00:13:13.879
they both called the school at different points, and then

217
00:13:14.159 --> 00:13:17.399
on the way there, Fabian called kept calling the both

218
00:13:17.399 --> 00:13:19.559
of them. Oh, and as he was pulling up, he

219
00:13:19.600 --> 00:13:21.600
saw the car in the driveway, and so then he

220
00:13:21.639 --> 00:13:25.399
called Rodrigo, his brother, and Rodrigo's uncle. Okay, wow, yeah,

221
00:13:26.159 --> 00:13:28.279
if you're confused, maybe someone else is, so it's better

222
00:13:28.320 --> 00:13:32.960
to yeah, explain everything again. So, yes, it took the

223
00:13:33.000 --> 00:13:35.279
police forty minutes to get there. Once they got there,

224
00:13:35.360 --> 00:13:37.639
Fabian was there and he was like, I have keys

225
00:13:37.679 --> 00:13:41.840
to the house, but I haven't gone in. They opened

226
00:13:41.879 --> 00:13:46.039
the door and upon opening the door. The cops went

227
00:13:46.080 --> 00:13:47.519
at first, and one of the cops yet to the

228
00:13:47.519 --> 00:13:50.240
other like get an ambulance, But then the other woman

229
00:13:50.279 --> 00:13:52.639
said there was no point because they had been dead

230
00:13:52.639 --> 00:13:56.200
for at least twenty four hours. And so what I

231
00:13:56.240 --> 00:13:59.159
was wondering earlier is that she was on the phone

232
00:13:59.200 --> 00:14:05.840
with the police, yeah, for four minutes. Why had any

233
00:14:06.240 --> 00:14:09.600
gone the call? It seems like the call ended abruptly, right,

234
00:14:09.639 --> 00:14:13.360
and they presumably heard him coming in or her responding

235
00:14:13.360 --> 00:14:17.279
to some intruder, right, because he hung up the phone. Yeah,

236
00:14:18.440 --> 00:14:20.159
I was wondering that the whole time, and I just

237
00:14:20.519 --> 00:14:22.440
didn't like cut you off because I feel like when

238
00:14:22.440 --> 00:14:24.360
you said you're wondering, I'm like, oh, you're probably wondering

239
00:14:24.399 --> 00:14:27.759
the same thing that I am. Like, they didn't try

240
00:14:27.799 --> 00:14:33.000
calling back, they didn't send an officer to find out

241
00:14:33.519 --> 00:14:36.919
what's going on. Yeah, Yeah, they could have been found

242
00:14:36.960 --> 00:14:41.679
so much sooner, he knows, maybe even still alive, Like

243
00:14:42.080 --> 00:14:45.639
I don't know, but yeah, this because when he went

244
00:14:45.639 --> 00:14:49.679
in there, it was four am on the eleventh, and

245
00:14:50.600 --> 00:14:54.200
when they were found, it's ten fifty on the twelfth. Yeah,

246
00:14:54.720 --> 00:15:01.320
so yeah, Fabian saw his daughter and ex wife. Also,

247
00:15:03.080 --> 00:15:08.799
I just can't. I I can't believe like that that happened.

248
00:15:08.919 --> 00:15:13.279
And he had also just lost his own wife, wife

249
00:15:14.200 --> 00:15:21.840
to another femicide, because it was a neighbor that killed her. Yeah. Also,

250
00:15:22.000 --> 00:15:24.559
the whole time that he the cops are going in,

251
00:15:24.960 --> 00:15:26.919
the cops are yelling for ambulance. The other cops like,

252
00:15:26.960 --> 00:15:29.799
we don't need an ambulance. They've been dead. The whole time,

253
00:15:30.080 --> 00:15:33.600
he's on the phone with Rodrigo. Oh my god. And

254
00:15:33.639 --> 00:15:37.559
so finally between sobs, he tells his brother what's going on,

255
00:15:37.799 --> 00:15:41.960
what he's seeing, and so then more police arrived, along

256
00:15:42.000 --> 00:15:44.720
with neighbors like trying to see what's going on, and

257
00:15:44.840 --> 00:15:48.559
also cops, sorry not cops, and also Rodrigo. He left

258
00:15:48.639 --> 00:15:51.080
work and he went to go bet with his brother.

259
00:15:52.600 --> 00:15:57.399
When Rodrigo arrived, he saw Fabian being interrogated by the cops.

260
00:15:58.279 --> 00:16:01.639
Fabian was in the back of a cop car, and

261
00:16:01.679 --> 00:16:04.639
I think he thought he was just going down to

262
00:16:04.679 --> 00:16:08.440
the station too. He didn't realize he was a suspect exactly,

263
00:16:08.639 --> 00:16:10.600
because he was just in the back of the cop car.

264
00:16:10.679 --> 00:16:12.200
And then he tried to get out to go to

265
00:16:12.240 --> 00:16:14.759
the bathroom, and he realized he was locked in, and

266
00:16:14.799 --> 00:16:18.240
he couldn't get out. Oh my god, I just I

267
00:16:18.279 --> 00:16:23.879
have so much I don't know sadness for what he experienced.

268
00:16:24.279 --> 00:16:29.879
It's like this horrible loss, right, because losing someone is always,

269
00:16:30.080 --> 00:16:35.440
you know, sad, right, but then in this violent manner, Yeah, exactly,

270
00:16:35.519 --> 00:16:38.559
it's like even worse. And then he had jos lost

271
00:16:38.639 --> 00:16:41.799
his wife and now the mother of his other child

272
00:16:41.840 --> 00:16:45.039
than his child, and then he doesn't even know he's

273
00:16:45.039 --> 00:16:48.200
a suspect. Right at this point that he couldn't get out,

274
00:16:48.320 --> 00:16:50.200
he began to think, oh my god, they think it

275
00:16:50.240 --> 00:16:52.879
was me, but he knew it wasn't him. He started

276
00:16:52.960 --> 00:16:57.519
slamming on the window, and finally a cop came, and

277
00:16:57.600 --> 00:16:59.519
that cop told him he wasn't allowed to get out,

278
00:16:59.600 --> 00:17:02.759
and then and he continued slimming on the window, and

279
00:17:02.759 --> 00:17:05.599
so then another cop came, like that cop supervisor, and

280
00:17:05.680 --> 00:17:08.599
so he was like, what's going on? And so then

281
00:17:08.640 --> 00:17:11.000
they began to interrogate him again. They were like, well,

282
00:17:11.039 --> 00:17:13.160
if you had keys the house, way you go inside,

283
00:17:13.400 --> 00:17:16.200
that was suspicious, and he's like, I already told you, guys,

284
00:17:16.200 --> 00:17:21.400
I was scared. Eventually they let him go use the bathroom,

285
00:17:21.400 --> 00:17:24.400
but under the supervision of a different officer. Oh my god,

286
00:17:24.519 --> 00:17:28.359
and then they continued their interrogation of Fabian. They could

287
00:17:28.400 --> 00:17:31.000
not fathom that, like someone else did this to them,

288
00:17:31.279 --> 00:17:35.279
it was him until a friend and neighbor of Gabrielas

289
00:17:35.480 --> 00:17:39.279
walked up to the police, like what's happening, and then

290
00:17:39.319 --> 00:17:41.599
he told them like, oh, well, it must have been

291
00:17:41.640 --> 00:17:45.599
Gabriela's ex boyfriend. And this friend told the police that

292
00:17:45.640 --> 00:17:48.480
he had overheard gasid Is yelling if you can't be mine,

293
00:17:48.519 --> 00:17:53.400
you can't be anyone's recently, and so this is when

294
00:17:53.640 --> 00:17:56.599
the police drove over to well, they went over to

295
00:17:56.640 --> 00:17:59.079
Fabian and asked if he knew the ex boyfriend's address,

296
00:17:59.440 --> 00:18:01.720
and then they they drove over to the house with

297
00:18:01.759 --> 00:18:04.039
Fabian still in the back of the car, not able

298
00:18:04.079 --> 00:18:07.720
to get out, and then they were like, yeah, now

299
00:18:07.759 --> 00:18:09.799
we think it was him because we talked to her friends,

300
00:18:10.400 --> 00:18:12.640
so you can go. You're not a suspect anymore. But

301
00:18:12.680 --> 00:18:16.200
they just like left him at the house without like

302
00:18:16.319 --> 00:18:18.880
they could have told him this before. Why did they

303
00:18:18.920 --> 00:18:20.519
take him over there. They could just let him out

304
00:18:20.519 --> 00:18:22.200
before they went over there. Right now he has to

305
00:18:22.240 --> 00:18:24.079
call or they go ask him to come him up

306
00:18:24.119 --> 00:18:25.400
to go back to his car, when they could have

307
00:18:25.480 --> 00:18:28.720
said this to him where they already were. Yes, exactly.

308
00:18:29.160 --> 00:18:31.599
He could have just given him the address, right, but

309
00:18:31.640 --> 00:18:33.359
I guess they wanted to make sure. I don't know,

310
00:18:33.519 --> 00:18:35.920
it's oh maybe he didn't. You only knew how to

311
00:18:35.960 --> 00:18:38.200
get there and didn't know the address. I would hope,

312
00:18:38.319 --> 00:18:40.359
I would hope. Yeah, that's gonna make the better because

313
00:18:40.359 --> 00:18:42.519
there's some places like that, you know, that's true, where

314
00:18:42.559 --> 00:18:43.920
you're like, I don't know, but I know how to

315
00:18:43.920 --> 00:18:47.519
get there. Yeah, true, true. So yeah, they finally let

316
00:18:47.559 --> 00:18:49.799
him go. They said he was in a suspect so

317
00:18:50.759 --> 00:18:53.759
when they entered Cassidy's house, he wasn't there. And now

318
00:18:53.799 --> 00:18:56.400
they were like, all right, this is probably our guy.

319
00:18:57.720 --> 00:19:01.200
They also talked to her friends. These friends told them

320
00:19:01.240 --> 00:19:04.559
about the voice messages she had recently sent them about

321
00:19:04.559 --> 00:19:07.880
how she was tired of him and his abuse and

322
00:19:08.000 --> 00:19:12.200
him following her stocking her, and that he had previously

323
00:19:12.319 --> 00:19:15.359
been physically abusive as well, because she said like, I'm

324
00:19:15.359 --> 00:19:17.000
not gonna let him lay one more hand on me.

325
00:19:17.920 --> 00:19:19.920
And so they heard all these and they were like, yeah, no,

326
00:19:20.000 --> 00:19:23.039
it's him, it's him. We need to find him. That

327
00:19:23.119 --> 00:19:27.119
same night, as friends and family held a vigil for Carolina,

328
00:19:27.319 --> 00:19:31.960
and Gabriela gassi Is was found and now we're this

329
00:19:32.000 --> 00:19:36.039
is the thirteenth of June. Police did a press conference

330
00:19:36.200 --> 00:19:40.759
where they stated that Gasttis had confessed. Then they also

331
00:19:40.839 --> 00:19:44.640
found like blood at his house, his shoe prints at

332
00:19:44.640 --> 00:19:46.960
the scene of the crime, and that same blood on

333
00:19:47.039 --> 00:19:49.640
his own shoes, and they also found a knife that

334
00:19:49.680 --> 00:19:52.480
had been used, so like there was no denine it

335
00:19:52.519 --> 00:19:56.160
was him. When the funeral was held, police had to

336
00:19:56.319 --> 00:20:01.039
close the streets, block streets so people at march with

337
00:20:01.119 --> 00:20:04.640
the possession because there was that many people supporting the

338
00:20:04.640 --> 00:20:09.599
family and at the funeral and as they buried Gabriela

339
00:20:09.640 --> 00:20:13.839
and Carolina. Gassides was formerly charged with the unlawful killing

340
00:20:13.880 --> 00:20:18.279
of Carolina and for the homicide and rape of Gabriela,

341
00:20:18.599 --> 00:20:22.599
and the investigation took two years, so he had been

342
00:20:22.680 --> 00:20:27.039
like indicted or they were pursuing charges against him, I

343
00:20:27.079 --> 00:20:30.200
guess is what they had said. But then it still

344
00:20:30.200 --> 00:20:34.920
took two years for him to be like arrested. Oh yeah,

345
00:20:35.039 --> 00:20:40.519
for anything to move forward. And the family also learned

346
00:20:40.559 --> 00:20:44.359
that this wouldn't be tried as a femicide. And so

347
00:20:44.440 --> 00:20:49.240
from that day on, Fabian and Rodrigo fought for Gabriela's

348
00:20:49.319 --> 00:20:55.319
law calling for a change in what qualified as femicide.

349
00:20:55.640 --> 00:21:01.079
So in twenty ten, femicide was added to Chile's criminal

350
00:21:01.119 --> 00:21:05.599
system or law, whatever it's called. But under the way

351
00:21:05.599 --> 00:21:08.920
it was added femicide, it could only be a femicide

352
00:21:09.000 --> 00:21:11.440
if a woman was killed by a partner they lived

353
00:21:11.440 --> 00:21:16.160
with or were married to. Oh, I see, yes, So

354
00:21:16.240 --> 00:21:19.680
it didn't apply to Gabriella because she didn't live with Casatz.

355
00:21:21.559 --> 00:21:24.160
Side note, but I learned in all of this that

356
00:21:25.039 --> 00:21:29.359
Nobio is polo in Chile. I heard that before. I

357
00:21:29.400 --> 00:21:31.839
didn't know that. I don't remember how I heard it.

358
00:21:31.880 --> 00:21:37.319
Aware interesting. Maybe I was watching something Chilean. Maybe yeah,

359
00:21:38.319 --> 00:21:41.559
I might've been watching them because original but the La

360
00:21:41.559 --> 00:21:44.559
faa la is from China. I think maybe it might

361
00:21:44.559 --> 00:21:48.920
have been that where I heard it. That makes sense. Yeah,

362
00:21:49.200 --> 00:21:52.880
and so yeah, I didn't apply to Gabriella or her mom.

363
00:21:52.960 --> 00:21:57.279
But Fabian insisted this was a femicide, that she was

364
00:21:57.359 --> 00:22:00.240
killed because she was a woman, because she rejec that

365
00:22:00.400 --> 00:22:05.839
casse Is advances, and Fabian maintained this wouldn't have happened

366
00:22:06.000 --> 00:22:10.160
if Gabriela had been a man. That's true. Yeah, all

367
00:22:10.200 --> 00:22:14.400
of that is true. Yeah, and so they they fought

368
00:22:14.440 --> 00:22:22.119
for this to change. And so Gabriella's law expanded the

369
00:22:22.240 --> 00:22:26.240
definition or expands the definition of femicide to include violent

370
00:22:26.279 --> 00:22:30.039
crimes against women based on gender, even if committed outside

371
00:22:30.039 --> 00:22:33.559
of a relationship. Okay, that's good. It went beyond even

372
00:22:33.559 --> 00:22:42.920
their parameters that defined her relationship situation. Yeah, also expanding

373
00:22:42.920 --> 00:22:46.319
it further from a couple that does not live together. Yeah.

374
00:22:46.599 --> 00:22:49.559
And so now femicide and this is a quote from

375
00:22:49.559 --> 00:22:53.160
Silvana Delbaye, a lawyer and coordinator from the of the

376
00:22:53.279 --> 00:22:59.319
organization she leaned, Network Against Violence against Women. She said,

377
00:22:59.599 --> 00:23:02.519
nowside simply means the murder of a woman for the

378
00:23:02.559 --> 00:23:06.759
fact of being a woman. And this organization had actually

379
00:23:06.839 --> 00:23:10.359
been keeping track of like what would be considered a

380
00:23:10.359 --> 00:23:15.279
femicide before femicide was codified into Chilean law, because that

381
00:23:15.319 --> 00:23:17.799
was in twenty ten, and so they had a database

382
00:23:17.920 --> 00:23:21.640
of all these femicides and they made it public in

383
00:23:21.839 --> 00:23:26.400
twenty ten, and then they kept filing what they considered femicides,

384
00:23:26.400 --> 00:23:30.440
which would include Gabriela's murder and her mom's murder. They

385
00:23:30.519 --> 00:23:33.079
kept those and then when Gabriela's Law came into place,

386
00:23:33.119 --> 00:23:35.880
they added even more to make you know, the public

387
00:23:35.920 --> 00:23:39.920
aware like this is a serious issue. Yeah, and they

388
00:23:39.960 --> 00:23:41.960
but yeah, they've been doing a lot of that work.

389
00:23:42.799 --> 00:23:46.599
But Fabian and Rodrigo went to Congress every single week

390
00:23:47.039 --> 00:23:51.119
to push for Gabriela's law, to advocate for it. They

391
00:23:51.160 --> 00:23:54.400
did this for a year and a half. Wow. And

392
00:23:54.480 --> 00:23:56.400
in that time they met with like a whole bunch

393
00:23:56.400 --> 00:24:00.000
of different like government officials, but the then president refused

394
00:24:00.079 --> 00:24:04.359
to meet with them. They never once met with him. Finally,

395
00:24:05.359 --> 00:24:07.680
I want to say, it was like twenty nineteen when

396
00:24:07.720 --> 00:24:10.759
they said, yes, we'll make this into law, and then

397
00:24:10.880 --> 00:24:15.279
March of twenty twenty when the law went into effect.

398
00:24:15.519 --> 00:24:18.880
So when the law was promulgated, and I was like,

399
00:24:18.880 --> 00:24:22.000
what is that put in place? Officially, put into a

400
00:24:22.079 --> 00:24:28.440
decree or whatever? You know, President Sevastian Pinera said quote

401
00:24:29.079 --> 00:24:39.720
Avess Nolasalas and in English, sometimes it is not merely

402
00:24:40.240 --> 00:24:44.160
men's will to abuse, but also women's position to be abused.

403
00:24:46.079 --> 00:24:50.119
Why what the fuck is he saying? What? What? What

404
00:24:50.480 --> 00:24:52.160
do you mean by that? What does you mean by that?

405
00:24:54.279 --> 00:24:56.680
Is he saying like did he just word about ai?

406
00:24:56.759 --> 00:24:58.880
But obviously know what he meant, but I don't know,

407
00:24:59.079 --> 00:25:01.119
like if I had to give him the benefit of

408
00:25:01.119 --> 00:25:05.279
the doubt, like maybe he meant that women are abused

409
00:25:05.319 --> 00:25:10.279
because they're women. I felt like he was saying, sometimes

410
00:25:10.319 --> 00:25:13.839
there's a woman's fault, she's being That's what I thought too.

411
00:25:14.240 --> 00:25:18.400
But then I'm like, Okay, well maybe I don't know. No,

412
00:25:18.480 --> 00:25:21.319
I think it's the other one what I said, because

413
00:25:21.480 --> 00:25:24.240
he said, yes, yeah, that he's just like, who's not

414
00:25:24.279 --> 00:25:27.400
always the man's fault? Sometimes women deserve to be abused.

415
00:25:29.559 --> 00:25:35.480
At the ceremony to bring this law into place, he

416
00:25:36.160 --> 00:25:40.960
did refuse to meet with them too, so no he did. Yeah. Yeah.

417
00:25:41.039 --> 00:25:46.240
In response to that statement, Fay called him out. He said, quote,

418
00:25:46.640 --> 00:25:49.839
they are quite unfortunate words because it shows a lack

419
00:25:49.880 --> 00:25:52.720
of listening, a lack of understanding that the woman is

420
00:25:52.759 --> 00:25:57.319
not to blame here. Okay. Unfortunately, these types of men,

421
00:25:57.640 --> 00:26:01.720
the abusers, have a lethal mix of intelligence and ability

422
00:26:01.799 --> 00:26:05.640
to diminish a woman. But the blame will never be

423
00:26:06.240 --> 00:26:13.720
the women's in these cases. Yeah. Yeah. As for gast Is,

424
00:26:14.000 --> 00:26:19.440
he was sentenced to life in April of twenty twenty two. Unfortunately,

425
00:26:19.720 --> 00:26:23.720
the femicide charge would not be applied to him because

426
00:26:24.839 --> 00:26:28.799
it came into place after yeah, it wasn't like retroactive exactly,

427
00:26:29.559 --> 00:26:33.240
but the family still viewed it as a victory. They

428
00:26:33.279 --> 00:26:40.079
said that their fight was quote enelre toras for everyone

429
00:26:40.319 --> 00:26:44.359
they gave me Chelles, I know, and I just I

430
00:26:44.400 --> 00:26:48.559
felt so sad, like just hearing I listened to he

431
00:26:49.000 --> 00:26:52.640
they were so outspoken in the media, Fabian Androdrigo, both

432
00:26:52.640 --> 00:26:57.400
of them, and like, I mean their lives were uprooted

433
00:26:57.519 --> 00:27:02.960
by femicide. Femicide, yeah, because it wasn't just his daughter,

434
00:27:03.200 --> 00:27:07.279
but also like we said, his wife and so yeah,

435
00:27:07.319 --> 00:27:13.160
they I mean I want Yeah, I watched I was like,

436
00:27:13.160 --> 00:27:15.720
what are they saying? I watched interviews and it's just

437
00:27:15.759 --> 00:27:18.640
like it's so sad to hear, like, oh, the the

438
00:27:18.759 --> 00:27:20.440
last words I said to her was like I love

439
00:27:20.440 --> 00:27:24.079
you more than anything in this life. And yeah, and

440
00:27:24.119 --> 00:27:28.640
then also hearing them say like if it weren't for her,

441
00:27:28.880 --> 00:27:34.039
like this wouldn't have been put into place, and that

442
00:27:34.839 --> 00:27:40.279
like her death wasn't in vain, you know, yeah, like

443
00:27:40.359 --> 00:27:47.920
something there they feel something good came out of it. Yes, yeah, yeah,

444
00:27:48.279 --> 00:27:53.400
but yeah that is the femicide, double femicide that brought

445
00:27:53.440 --> 00:28:03.519
Gabriela's lat into place in Chile. Wow, very impactful. Yeah

446
00:28:03.640 --> 00:28:07.720
and yeah, like what a what an important case that

447
00:28:07.839 --> 00:28:14.880
changed Chile forever. To close out March for us here. Yeah,

448
00:28:15.039 --> 00:28:18.680
and that's the case all around, you know, where laws

449
00:28:18.680 --> 00:28:21.359
are put in place after the fact, and it's sad

450
00:28:21.720 --> 00:28:26.160
that women had to lose their lives, women and children

451
00:28:26.240 --> 00:28:28.559
have to lose their lives or be harmed in any

452
00:28:28.640 --> 00:28:31.160
kind of way for then, you know, loss to be

453
00:28:31.160 --> 00:28:35.839
put in place to either prevent or punish more severely,

454
00:28:35.960 --> 00:28:40.799
you know, people who enact that kind of violence. Yeah, yeah,

455
00:28:41.000 --> 00:28:46.119
I don't know. Yeah. Oh, actually I do have one

456
00:28:46.319 --> 00:28:51.400
thing to end this on that I'm like excited for

457
00:28:51.759 --> 00:28:57.400
this Sunday, the Latina running club that I joined is

458
00:28:57.440 --> 00:29:02.960
doing a Women's History Month or a Women's Month run.

459
00:29:03.279 --> 00:29:05.920
Oh I love that to close out like you know, March.

460
00:29:06.440 --> 00:29:11.559
And everyone's supposed to wear black with like purple, oh

461
00:29:11.759 --> 00:29:14.720
like they do for the Mac with the purple Okay,

462
00:29:14.720 --> 00:29:18.839
So I love that. Yeah and yeah, just a bunch

463
00:29:18.839 --> 00:29:23.000
of women running together. What a because also there was

464
00:29:23.039 --> 00:29:28.079
a time well yeah, first, first of all, running as

465
00:29:28.079 --> 00:29:31.960
a woman is scary, right, yeah, because women have been

466
00:29:32.039 --> 00:29:35.359
killed while they're running and dogging doing something that anybody

467
00:29:35.359 --> 00:29:40.119
should be able to do. But also there was a

468
00:29:40.119 --> 00:29:42.920
time that women could not run, like the Boston Marathon.

469
00:29:43.000 --> 00:29:45.079
For example. Have you seen the pictures of the first

470
00:29:45.240 --> 00:29:48.640
Boston Marathon. Yeah, some of those pictures I later learned

471
00:29:48.799 --> 00:29:51.799
it later learned is her boyfriend defending her from the

472
00:29:51.839 --> 00:29:56.160
guy who's trying to get her off the course? Too?

473
00:29:56.559 --> 00:29:59.279
But yeah, I mean, and what was that like in

474
00:29:59.319 --> 00:30:03.759
the sixty seventies. There's too recent, too recent, because that

475
00:30:03.920 --> 00:30:09.119
woman ran the marathon again as an adult, as a recently. Yeah,

476
00:30:09.839 --> 00:30:13.359
like within the past five years for sure. Yeah, and

477
00:30:13.440 --> 00:30:18.119
all of this, like all the milestones and rights that

478
00:30:18.160 --> 00:30:23.759
women have now, women file for, women died for right

479
00:30:23.799 --> 00:30:26.759
not only in the US but all over Latin America,

480
00:30:27.519 --> 00:30:31.119
And every day we're seeing these rights trying to be

481
00:30:31.160 --> 00:30:33.359
taken away from us. Right, So now with not the

482
00:30:33.400 --> 00:30:37.160
time to be like I want to turn my brain now,

483
00:30:37.920 --> 00:30:39.640
I don't want to work. I want to be a

484
00:30:39.640 --> 00:30:42.880
say home girlfriend, like, shut the fuck up, you dumb bitch.

485
00:30:43.519 --> 00:30:45.599
If I hear someone say that next to me, I'm

486
00:30:45.599 --> 00:30:49.759
going to clock you right then. In there. That's that aggressive,

487
00:30:49.920 --> 00:30:53.920
that's the masculine me. I'm not in my feminine I

488
00:30:53.960 --> 00:30:55.880
can't be in my feminine because my rights are being

489
00:30:55.920 --> 00:31:00.720
taken away. No, for real, again, it just I think

490
00:31:00.759 --> 00:31:06.119
of the stupid manos Here documentary we just watched the Yeah,

491
00:31:06.240 --> 00:31:10.240
they're like literally with the most abusive, disgusting men, and

492
00:31:10.240 --> 00:31:13.079
they're like, I'm in my feminists. I feel safe in

493
00:31:13.079 --> 00:31:15.480
his mask and he lets me be in my feminine.

494
00:31:15.759 --> 00:31:19.200
And again again, these are the men going on podcast

495
00:31:19.240 --> 00:31:22.000
saying I can kill her at any moment. I can

496
00:31:22.079 --> 00:31:24.880
kill her, right, bro, I could just pin her up

497
00:31:24.920 --> 00:31:27.079
to the wall, bro, and they do. She has to

498
00:31:27.119 --> 00:31:29.519
live with that, bro. Yeah, and they do and they

499
00:31:29.519 --> 00:31:33.759
do so like we have been saying a month, and

500
00:31:33.799 --> 00:31:39.240
I know everyone's so sick of hearing it, but like feminists,

501
00:31:39.359 --> 00:31:41.359
we will never shut up about feminism, We will never

502
00:31:41.400 --> 00:31:44.480
shut up about it. Okay. Coincidentally, I just started coming

503
00:31:44.519 --> 00:31:47.240
across on my for you page on TikTok this woman,

504
00:31:47.319 --> 00:31:50.039
this white Mexican I don't know. I know, people keep

505
00:31:50.039 --> 00:31:53.319
saying her podcast name and the comments and I keep forgetting,

506
00:31:54.039 --> 00:31:57.960
but she's like talking to different guests on her podcast

507
00:31:58.039 --> 00:32:03.440
and just like informing them in such a calm manner

508
00:32:03.720 --> 00:32:07.680
about I need to Yeah, right, that's why you need

509
00:32:07.720 --> 00:32:09.319
to find this. You can send it to me. I will.

510
00:32:09.400 --> 00:32:11.680
I love to listen to that. I'll find it before

511
00:32:11.720 --> 00:32:13.720
this episode comes down and put the link in the

512
00:32:13.960 --> 00:32:18.240
in the show notes. Okay, I will. Because there's a guy,

513
00:32:18.440 --> 00:32:20.160
a friend of her is a guy, and he's like

514
00:32:20.279 --> 00:32:24.319
talking about something about the how women are always putting

515
00:32:24.400 --> 00:32:26.720
other women down, and then she's like, why do you

516
00:32:26.720 --> 00:32:30.319
think that is? She's so calmly, she said, what do

517
00:32:30.319 --> 00:32:32.400
you think that is? Because everything is done through the

518
00:32:32.440 --> 00:32:35.680
mail gaze and she's just like she's just and then

519
00:32:35.720 --> 00:32:39.039
he's like, oh, so it's because of this blah blah blah.

520
00:32:39.119 --> 00:32:42.279
She's like, yeah, blah blah blah blah blah. She's just

521
00:32:42.319 --> 00:32:45.880
so like smart, the way she talks. I could never know,

522
00:32:46.559 --> 00:32:51.960
like not in English, much less in Spanish. Yes, yes,

523
00:32:53.039 --> 00:32:58.119
and so yeah, I don't know, like I will send

524
00:32:58.119 --> 00:33:01.440
this to you and okay and yeah, and we can

525
00:33:01.519 --> 00:33:04.599
end this episode. But I needed to say that one

526
00:33:04.599 --> 00:33:09.440
more time. Yeah, let's let's let's not only stay a spooky,

527
00:33:09.759 --> 00:33:17.039
but let's be feminist and intersectional with that. Oh sorry, no,

528
00:33:17.440 --> 00:33:21.400
one more thing before we go after this. After this episode,

529
00:33:22.200 --> 00:33:24.519
we are going to go on a one week yes,

530
00:33:24.680 --> 00:33:28.359
one week, no episode every other week. Yeah, yes, every

531
00:33:28.400 --> 00:33:33.119
other week, because you're talking what like Kevin when he's

532
00:33:33.119 --> 00:33:37.119
trying to change from the office when he's supposedly one week. Yes,

533
00:33:37.160 --> 00:33:41.920
one wee can no more less words, more better, My bad,

534
00:33:42.279 --> 00:33:46.079
my bad. That's why I'm going back to school. No,

535
00:33:46.200 --> 00:33:49.160
but famously, I am returning to school. Mom, that's going

536
00:33:49.200 --> 00:33:54.240
back to school. Yes. Yes, I fell fomo and also proud,

537
00:33:54.359 --> 00:33:58.160
but fomo when my husband walked the stage and I

538
00:33:58.200 --> 00:34:01.920
was like, I want to walk a stage and wow.

539
00:34:02.079 --> 00:34:05.039
So yeah, I'm going back to school. And so because

540
00:34:05.039 --> 00:34:07.839
of that, we're going to that every other week schedule

541
00:34:07.839 --> 00:34:11.719
because other than otherwise it would be stable. Yeah, yeah,

542
00:34:11.719 --> 00:34:15.320
too much. So yeah, say Spookie, we'll catch a ruin

543
00:34:15.400 --> 00:34:19.760
next time. Bye bye. A Book Tells is hosted by
